worst of all time . this place needs to be shut down

Stopped in for pick up. And the employees were making dough by hand without gloves, I witnessed one female employee stop kneading the dough to pick up her phone and text someone for a few minutes and then put it down and put her hands back in the dough.

Pizza order was for an original crust with mushrooms and the pizza I received was on thin crust. Was a bit frustrating b/c I do not like thin crust pizza. Pls adhere to the orders...

No communication, waited almost two hours for the order and had to get on the tracker to just realized it was cancelled. Called and the person who answered didn't even apologize about the cancellation and blamed doordash for the cancellation. Unacceptable

Horrible. Just unbelievable. I wanted to give it a chance since this is the closest one to where I moved to and despite the reviews I read, I was thinking this will be a smooth order. We'll after I place my order and started driving to this Papa John's location, 30 minutes into my drive I get a call from corporate with a voicemail saying my order was canceled. I called and all she said was that the store told them they have an outage of something and that's all she can say. Then proceeded with I'm sorry and go find another location. I just don't get it how can they be out of either pepperoni, beef, mushroom and jalapeño. Like they couldn't just substitute an ingredient instead of canceling the order? Not even an option to order something else, just say go find another Papa John's. I'm just shocked because I pretty much was close to there and when I drove by I see them through the window making pizza.

The flavor is there but the appeal is way off… imagine giving a customer a pizza that actually looks like what you guy advertise.

I’m not usually someone who leaves review, but this experience was by far the worst I’ve had at Papa John’s at the Forney location

I’ve been a full-time DoorDash driver for a while, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had at Papa John’s at the Forney location . I waited for almost 45 minutes for my order, during which time I saw other DoorDashers come in, get their orders, and leave well before I did. Not only was I delayed, but I also lost out on a promotion that could have helped me recover lost earnings. The level of service here was completely unacceptable. It was frustrating, unprofessional, and has made me seriously reconsider accepting orders from this location in the future

We ordered multiple pizzas for our kid's classroom holiday party. Rachel did an awesome job placing our order the day before and applying a deal to our order, which helped our budget and was the deciding factor for why we chose Papa John's for our large order. Brittany did an awesome job making our pizzas to order and having them ready at the time promised. The pizza was still hot when the kids received it and they definitely enjoyed it. We were very appreciative of the customer service and the quality of pizza they provided for such an important day!

Ordered on the app at 2241 and never received my order when they close at midnight. Order sat on preparing forever, then moved to baking, then to boxing, and then popped up that it was canceled.

This location should be shut down asap, like tomorrow. I’m not even about to explain what I had to go through just to get my pizza. I tried giving this a shot since Pizza Hut had a long wait but I could’ve waited because I waited 4 hours for this. Then I still had to go pick it up when it was suppose to be delivered. Uggh never again!!!!!!!!!!!! & I mean that. SHUT IT DOWN!

Do not order from here. The quality of their work shows by the way delivery time keeps getting pushed back from original eta and as soon as you open the box! Makes me wonder how much effort goes into what you can’t see them do, such as hygiene.

Well, there’s plenty of other reviews now that can explain much more eloquently what’s been happening at this location.

The quality has dropped significantly over the past few years. I have to be honest, our household loves pizza and we order about once a week from PJs.

Last night, the person making and handling the pizzas had on a hair bonnet and house slippers while preparing food. This just doesn’t sit right. When handling food, I expect more of a professional non-open shoe uniform.

I hope someday this place can bounce back but I’m not hopeful at this point.

My advice would be to try Mr. Jim’s, Marco’s, Milano’s, Gianni’s, Little Caesars, etc … and skip this place.
