Our server was kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. The wait time after ordering was rather long. The chicken and French toast were ok, although the chicken could have used more seasoning. The portion sizes were quite large. The mac and cheese was delicious. We did not enjoy the grits due to the cream corn. The band's performance that day was really nice. We found the dimmed lighting for the performance unnecessary, as it was 1PM in the afternoon; it seemed a bit early to set a mood of happy hour or evening.

OMG this place is awful! The only good thing about this place was the nice waitress that waited on us. Went into this place and should have turned around when we seen it was empty! We opted to stay since we met up with friends for brunch. We ordered the chicken and waffles whice we figured was the safest thing on the menu and boy were we wrong. They were out of chicken breast so we had to get 2 wings which were small and look emaciated!! The waffles were dry even with alot of syrup. My friend ordered a bloody Mary which was nothing like a bloody Mary. It tasted like it had grapefruit juice in it 🤮🤮. Hubby ordered a sweet tea that taste like diabetes! Trust me just go next door to Brunch Bistro and enjoy what's on the menu and far better tasting. These reviews for this place are questionable for me now after experiencing what we did. We will NEVER go back!

We decided to try out Prime XO tonight and we were highly impressed with the food. We tried the cajun deviled eggs, gumbo, and grilled catfish on a bed of dirty rice. The flavors are original to Louisiana Cajun food. We loved it. The atmosphere is very inviting and the owner James Washington is hands down the nicest gentleman. Thank you James and your staff.

My food was sooo good and flavorful I don’t know about anyone else. Maybe they came on a supper busy night but the food is bussin everything came out HOT AND FRESH and sooo seasoned with flavor nothing . From the fries to fish, side of vegetables everything was soooooo good 100/10 must try!

ordered a cajun chicken pasta with a pena colada margarita and my chicken was half done / half raw..so as a courtesy I thght my margarita drink would be on the house and I still had to pay 17 dollars for my drink after waiting 1 hour for my food with a family of 8 on last night..my 1st and last time there..what really pissed me off us when the waitress told me they cant make my order over because the kitchen is now closed

Favorable, large portion for 10-12 ladies, and let's talk about service. I called the morning of to place a catering order, and when I picked up at 5pm, they had just finished. Wow and unbelievablly great service, and the owner took to my car. Top-notch all the way.

When I first moved to Forney last summer, we were happy to find Prime XO. I've never had good food, but it be inaccessible. Placed orders on Doordash. Order states time it will be ready. Daughter goes to pick it up, a d they state they have 50 ppl that came in and they aren't taking orders. Called at 9:20 another time to place an order, they answered I stated I wanted to place an order, and was put on hold. Nobody came back to the line for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called back no answer. Another time they changed the menu, but didn't update their site or door dash. I kept trying ordered around d 730pm. Pick it up get home to find half pasta mossing from container. My mom was here for the rodeo she loves the shrimp n grits. The grits were a solid clump of mess. Then it's just half of a filet. I just don't know who is running this place. Went in Labor day weekend. Place smells like old chicken grease. Nobody asked if we wanted a drink. Same Ole crew a few new ppl, same spotty service. This place has so much potential. Great location and ability to be Forney's neighborhood bar. It's definitely not a dress up spot, but literally has some of the best food I've had in Texas. Just the most inconsistent restaurant/bar ever. Only open 4 hours a day for food. Smdh!

We wanted brunch next door but did not want to wait 2 hours for chicken and waffles. We saw this place and decided to check it out. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I never eat my entire plate of food unless it's my mother's cooking, but this was DELICIOUS!!! The staff is also very kind and tentative.
