I bought the beef stew yesterday (Saturday)! I enjoyed flavorful chunks of beef, carrots, potatoes and other veggies! The broth was balanced and seasoned. I'm so glad that I saved it for Sunday since it was 34 degrees today. I'm ready to chow down as soon as my cornbread comes out of the oven. I have been looking for some good catfish and when I came here, let me tell you she did not disappoint. Her catfish was fresh fries were fresh not only was everything fresh. Her welcoming attitude was on 1000%. She makes you feel like you’re definitely a down south restaurant and who wouldn’t love fresh catfish. So if you’re looking for some good seasoned catfish and let me tell you these pieces are huge. You’re going to get a lot of bang for your buck. The catfish was so big I could barely finish one of them. I love this place and I look forward to coming back again.

I came in on Sunday while i was delivering for my lunch break this is the best catfish Ive ever had it was fresh not greasy like other places and fried to perfection the fries were great too. The wings were really good better than any big company name and the ranch was amazing it had a hint of sweetness to it best ranch ive ever had . Food was cooked fresh and homemade im definitely coming back 💯

I've been in coming to Forney for a long time and I've been looking for some golden catfish fillets not tender size catfish. Well I found it today. I asked about the size and side portions, a couple was there eating and they happily showed me theirs. To put it short, SUNSHINE WING'S AND CATFISH is now in my contacts. I felt comfortable, loved and the hospitality was awesome, soft music and the food was Great.

Finally got the chance to visit Sunshine's Wings and Catfish, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the 3-piece catfish filet combo, and the food was absolutely amazing. The filets were huge—honestly, the 2-piece combo would have been more than enough.

What truly stood out, though, was the owner’s board on the wall. It read: “If you don’t have any money but would like to eat, pull a ticket from this board because the meal has already been paid for.” That kind of generosity says everything about the heart behind this place.

The hospitality was top tier—we felt welcomed the moment we walked in. If you’re ever in the Dallas/Forney area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that’s cooked with love, care, and plenty of seasoning.

Ms Sunshine is so lovely and a hard worker - even though she was quite busy she made sure to check on me as I dined in. Her love and passion shines thru with her food. I got the 2 PC Catfish and they're perfectly seasoned! And they're so big I saved the other one to be part of my dinner later! They're juicy, flaky, and just some of the best catfish I've eaten. You know it's good when you don't need sauces to do the heavy lifting (though next time I really want to try the crack sauce!)
Definitely a great meal and I hope to come regularly. You won't regret coming here!
