This was my first time visiting and Sunshine is amazing! She was extremely helpful with the menu! This place is worth visiting because everything is made to order and has great flavor! I am a very satisfied customer and will be back.

I came in on Sunday while i was delivering for my lunch break this is the best catfish Ive ever had it was fresh not greasy like other places and fried to perfection the fries were great too. The wings were really good better than any big company name and the ranch was amazing it had a hint of sweetness to it best ranch ive ever had . Food was cooked fresh and homemade im definitely coming back 💯

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and the service was warm and attentive. The menu has a great variety, but the stars of the show are definitely the wings and catfish. The wings were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The catfish was seasoned just right, with that golden crunch that let you know it was made fresh. Portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted homemade with real care put into it. I've been in coming to Forney for a long time and I've been looking for some golden catfish fillets not tender size catfish. Well I found it today. I asked about the size and side portions, a couple was there eating and they happily showed me theirs. To put it short, SUNSHINE WING'S AND CATFISH is now in my contacts. I felt comfortable, loved and the hospitality was awesome, soft music and the food was Great.

Finally got the chance to visit Sunshine's Wings and Catfish, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the 3-piece catfish filet combo, and the food was absolutely amazing. The filets were huge—honestly, the 2-piece combo would have been more than enough.

What truly stood out, though, was the owner’s board on the wall. It read: “If you don’t have any money but would like to eat, pull a ticket from this board because the meal has already been paid for.” That kind of generosity says everything about the heart behind this place.

The hospitality was top tier—we felt welcomed the moment we walked in. If you’re ever in the Dallas/Forney area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that’s cooked with love, care, and plenty of seasoning.

Ms Sunshine is so lovely and a hard worker - even though she was quite busy she made sure to check on me as I dined in. Her love and passion shines thru with her food. I got the 2 PC Catfish and they're perfectly seasoned! And they're so big I saved the other one to be part of my dinner later! They're juicy, flaky, and just some of the best catfish I've eaten. You know it's good when you don't need sauces to do the heavy lifting (though next time I really want to try the crack sauce!)
Definitely a great meal and I hope to come regularly. You won't regret coming here!

My husband & I found this little gem while out in Forney, to say the food was delicious is an understatement. The catfish was fried & seasoned well, my husband said it was the best catfish he’d ever had. Owner was sweet & there another lady there that checked up on us as well. Reading the reviews, you can see Ms. Sunshine loves what she does. Food is always consistent & portions are huge, as you can see it didn’t stand a chance against us lol. My order, the "1 Cluck and Pur" (featuring 10 wings and a generous catfish fillet), arrived at our table perfectly cooked to order and still piping hot. The catfish, truly authentic, boasted a seasoning that was both flavorful and perfectly balanced, never overpowering. And let me tell you, that fillet was no joke in terms of size! For my wings, the "Crack Sauce" lived up to its "sweet heat" promise, delivering just the right kick. I particularly appreciated the simplicity and excellent seasoning (just salt and pepper) on the fries – sometimes, less truly is more. Next visit, those parmesan fries are definitely on my list!
