My brother and I brought my mother here when she was visiting from Texas. We sat for a few hours playing cards, eating delicious treats, having amazing coffee, and spending time together. Love the vibe in this place.

Friendliest of staff, very helpful and courteous. Hilarious too, should do standup as a side hustleVegetarian options: If attending a class for a week order aheadWheelchair accessibility: There are about 4 handicapped spaces available

Stopped for coffee (and other drinks) in the early morning while passing through the El Paso area. Interior area was clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Nobody else was there at the time of our visit, but there were plenty of tables and chairs available for people to stay. Loved that they had an area set-up with toys and activities to keep kids engaged and entertained. Service was friendly and helpful albeit a little distracted by the drive-thru. While we were the only customers in the builing, there were a few cars placing orders outside. Only one server working at the start of their day, so she was a little busy juggling everything. Despite the interruptions, she was polite and professional. Coffees and hot cholocates were enjoyed by the family as was the muffins and other treats we purchased for the road. Prices might have been a little on the higher end, but they were reasonable for what we got. Would definitely stop by again whenever our travels take us through the area.

We try to stop at local places rather than a chain drive thru while traveling. It's healthier and always a chance to find a gem (supporting local business too). Java Cafe certainly was a gem. Good food. Excellent coffee. Friendly owner. Excellent space. If you are in area it's worth a visit.

Sausage, Egg n Cheese bagel was good. I had french toast which was made from a bagel. Different. It tasted dry even with the tad bit of syrup served with it. . Scone had no real taste of almond and cherry. It seemed it was made with Bisquick. Cappachino was a bit weak. Coffees were fine. We wanted to give this place a good rating but just can't happen

Java Cafe is cute inside. They have a little drive thru too. The coffee was really good. The reason I didn't give 4 stars is the price. Everything seems like about $1 more than it should be. I also wonder if they needed more staff on the day I was there because the wait for my drink seemed long. Still worth a visit! Definitely a treat and not an every day type of coffee place.

We wanted to come to ElPaso and see what is left of The Elms, so I googled places to eat; I work in the food business and I have to say that I was very, very pleased with our server, Bailey; when I asked what she recommended, she had an answer! We had the chicken salad sandwich, potato salad and a flat bread .OMG! Best chicken salad ever!! THEN we had a piece of pecan pie...again, best ever!! We bought a whole pecan pie and brought it home. We will definitely be back!!

A highlight of our long road trip, not just the one day we drove through.... The young couple who own and run the place took over an old building, stripped the wall, ceiling and floor coverings back to the basic building itself with handsawn lumber, brickwork and added a coffee shop, restaurant with amazing pastries, imaginative and remarkably inexpensive lunch items (we were too late for breakfast) and created a delightful stop. We found them thanks to a small black-and-white sign on the interstate that said simple "Java Cafe." We would go out of our way to visit again.
