Château Wright Winery and Food Truck

Lovely little winery out in the desert. I had the red wine flight and loved them all, though the Heraldic Red and the Malbec were standouts. Couldn’t leave without buying some bottles to take home and share with friends. The staff was very accommodating to our large dog, who loved meeting the sweet resident dogs, Rocky and Moose. Great experience! We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to west Texas.

During our yearly visit to Fort Davis, we decided to stop by the winery. What a lovely atmosphere.

Absolute must visit when in the area. Laid-back with great wines. We shared a bottle of a recently released “Griffin Red”. Chef’s kiss. Mmmm.

Absolutely blown away by the quality of wine here. Sitting on the shaded patio with misters, a cool breeze, awesome wine and excellent food from the food truck on premises *chefs kiss*

Wonderful place!

Nice little vineyard with good wines. Sparkling and dessert wine a nice find. Only criticism would be the tasting. Need to use small cordial glasses or individual shot glasses. Not using the same glass over and over for different wines. Too much cross flavors messing up the tasting. Do a long board with the wines labeled on the little board and the cordials holding the wines. But a nice visit and several good wines to buy.

Very good viognier and I bought a bottle of Mourvèdre for dinner. Good customer service .

Had a peaceful afternoon with some excellent wines. I enjoyed the Heraldic Red & Jack Rabbit Red.

Came here 2 years ago and the wine has vastly improved. Food trailer made great apples! Very friendly folks at the winery and food trailer.

My wife and I stopped here during our Big Bend vacation and had one of the best winery experiences ever. It's very laid back and not pretentious. The manager served us and she was perfect! Extremely knowledgeable about the wines and provided outstanding service! They had a musical artist singing and playing guitar, and she was excellent. We had lunch from the food truck and it was delicious. This stop was one of the best experiences we had on our vacation.

Wine tasting was a disappointment. Only one of the wines was reasonably good (Heraldic). Lack of atmosphere.
