Double Shot Coffee Lounge

Visited today (Nov 14) and they're no longer doing anything except coffee for the time being.

Yesterday...I woke up got dressed. The wife and I said let's go to the coffee shop. We did my wife ordered carnal macciato and as for I the hot latte with soy and coconut....I got sadness in a cup. Never knew you could actually taste sadness and wasn't even hot sadness. Both drinks were like warm and tasted like warmed up watered down baby formula.....sadness to go was what we had. Also the lady really didn't seem like wanted us to be there....that you ain't from round these parts vibe so goin get vibe.

This is the place to get a great cup of coffee in Fort Davis, any way you like it. Marisol helped us and she was super!

I love getting my coffee here! Always tastes amazing and the lady serving always is working so hard every time i go in! Always a smile and you can tell she enjoys what she does! During the 4th of July weekend she had a very long line and down to one machine. She kept working hard to serve as fast as she could and was very nice in letting everyone know about the wait and apologizing for it! Definitely one of my favorite shops!

We stopped here early in the morning right after they opened for the day. The lady was super friendly and made great coffee recommendations. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and after she asked a few questions she came up with a great coffee that was just perfect!
The space is a little empty but we attributed it to being the very first customers. We sat down and had great conversation with the lady who made our coffees. We don’t eat breakfast so we can’t comment on any food items. However the pastries that were there did look good.
I would definitely recommend!!!!

The coffee that I ordered was made beautifully and so good.

This is a weird place. There were no other customers, either time we went. They do have coffees (my latte was fine) but only a couple of food choices, danish or danish, and very few of those (obviously not locally made). The service was ok but I thought the lady didn't really want to be there.

Unfortunately it's not starbucks, expresso is watered down. Maybe measurements incorrect. My coffee was $14.00 upcharge was 2.75 to add extra shot because it tasted like milk only.

If you’re planning to get some breakfast and caffeine to start your long day of exploring Fort Davis, Davis Mountains State Park and McDonald Observatory, don’t include this place in your plans. The hours on the sign are fictional and you’ll be eating at the grocery store instead.
We drove back by at 0845 Wednesday and they still weren’t open.

We ended up leaving before ordering today because the lady at the counter was so rude.From the reviews it looks like the coffee and her mood suck pretty consistently.

If you’re going to McDonald Observatory or Big Bend skip this place. There are tons of other places to try and Alpine isn’t far away. We did however love our overall stay in Fort Davis.

Stopped in here while on a trip to the Davis Mountains. The cafe was super busy, but the kind woman working the register got us food to go. She went so far as to go box it up for us in the back - great service! Had coffee and biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend
