“Home cooking at its finest.
We flew into Ft Stockton over the weekend during Barrio fest and fortunately discovered this gem while walking around. I love the method of having one item per day and wish I could go back for more of their offerings.
Seriously the best Torta I’ve ever had in my life. Would happily fly back there just for another one.
The world needs more places like La Posada“

“Absolutely the best restaurant in Fort Stockton! Their food is deliciously consistent, interior is clean, & staff is very friendly. No other local restaurant compares to Mi Casita. We got so tired of eating bad beans & tasteless enchiladas at another well-known & local Tex-Mex restaurant with a sub-par interior until we discovered Mi Casita. Anyone that knows anything about delicious food will return to Mi Casita only!“
“i got the loaded fries with carne AL pastor , very DELISH!! 😋😋“
“The tamales were outstanding! I got a half dozen of the pork and they were not too spicy, the masa was really flavorful and the filling really rich. Super friendly staff. Also got a pack of tortillas and they fried up into excellent tostadas! Definitely a hidden gem!“

“We couldn’t believe ratings were so low here but people giving one star for slow service is crazy unfair. The food was great, very simple, flavored well. We got the Guedalajara (tostados with beef, beans, guacamole 🥑) and the combo plate with green sauce and beef. Friendly servers!“

“This is a to-go restaurant only. They have a big parking lot for RVs. The burritos were really good, especially the tortillas. However they were really expensive. For 8 burritos (a little bigger than a taco) is was $50. My hubs and wonder if maybe they increased the price since we were obviously from out of town?“

“These are mostly in TX though I and so happy a bunch are popping up in Seven elevens across Florida. They taste is consistent across the chain. The tacos are tasty, very filling and affordable. If you see one stop and try them. The breakfast Q is an awesome breakfast and a great deal. All the lunch meats are delicious and they are very well complimented by their salsas. ?“

“That was election night. I got the steak which was cooked perfectly. It was served with sauted onions and a brown gravy. It came with a salad and potato. The food was good. The wait staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable.“

“We travel frequently to San Antonio and usually stop in Fort Stockton for gas. Tired of the typical fast food options at gas stations, we decided to explore local eateries and came across Guadalajara Mexican Grill and Restaurant. Seeing a full parking lot on a Saturday afternoon, we decided it as a good sign and decided to try their menudo. It did not disappoint—rich in flavor, generously filled with tripe, and served in a large portion alongside buttery toast. The pricing was reasonable, the service was attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. Plenty of people were coming in to dine, which speaks to its popularity. We’ll definitely stop here again whenever we pass through Fort Stockton.“
