The iced vanilla shakerato won’t let you down!
Been going to this coffee shop for years and have loved it but with all of their recent expansions, I think they've lost sight of what makes a coffee shop great. The quality has gone down considerably while the prices go up. $6 for a bagel or pastry is insane especially since nothing is made in-house or by another local business anymore. I'm happy to see them succeed but it's disheartening to see a place that once embodied the best of small business culture begin to resemble just another chain.
We wanted to try out some new coffee spots, and I’ve heard lots of good things about this one in particular! It was spacious and had lots of natural lighting. The vibes were immaculate. From the aesthetically pleasing interior design, the live DJ playing house music, the delicious food. I gave the service four stars ONLY BECAUSE we chose to order through the DIY kiosk, but the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming!! I would recommend this place as a coffee date or a hangout spot. I wouldn’t say it’s a good study spot due to the house music. Our drinks were really delicious as well as our food choices. 10/10!!!!!
Checked out Ampersand near TCU—good coffee, but I prefer the Trinity Park location. They’ve got a better selection there. I went in hoping for the salted caramel mocha, but they didn’t have it, so I got a caramel mocha with an extra shot instead, and it hit the spot. Ambience is nice, and the space doubles as a bar which is cool, but overall, I’d make the drive to the other one.
I’ve been at the ampersand on 7 st first, the drinks was perfect (toasted coconut latte) and also the employees are so kind, but in this one the drink was unsweetened, I order the same drink and was not what I spect
Loved the lavender vanilla latte and almond croissant. And the Sunday DJ vibes were on point! Will definitely be back.
Great vibes and even better coffee
As a regular at the TCU location, I’ve enjoyed its since it first opened! The food is great, the staff is friendly, and it makes for a great study spot.
However, there’s been a shift recently. The waits have gotten longer, and there’s been a more stressful environment especially for the staff. As someone who works in the service industry, I know a staff shortage when I see one. In addition, livable wages are necessary for good work and a healthy environment. I hope that Ampersand continues to move towards a positive and supportive environment not just for customers, but for the staff too.
Cute space, plenty of seating, fun coffee and food options!
Took 23 minutes to get a 16oz Cappuccino after the order was placed. When I got it, the thing was not even half coffee. The rest was foam. What a rip off!!!

I miss the movies and shows, bring it back, especially minecraft
I got charged twice for my drink.
I LOVE IT HERE
I've been coming here since they opened years ago. Remodel is nice but the coffee has gone downhill in a big way. Now tastes as burnt and unappealing as Starbucks.
The Toasted Coconut Latte Changed My Life ☕✨
I don’t know who the genius is behind this latte, but they deserve a medal, a standing ovation, and maybe even a national holiday. This isn’t just a latte—it’s an experience. The first sip hit me so hard I almost called my mom to tell her I’d finally found the meaning of life.
The balance of flavors? Impeccable. The foam? Pure artistry. I’m convinced the barista whispered sweet nothings to the espresso while it brewed because this drink tastes like love and perfection.
If you haven’t tried the toasted coconut yet, are you even living? Run—don’t walk—to Ampersand. Your taste buds will thank you, and your soul will ascend.
10/10, would trade all other lattes for this one.
