I didn't like it that much. Big portions but the food was very bland. Chilaquiles had no flavor . Was told that the chilaquiles tradicionales were going to be very spicy and not only were they not spicy, they had NO flavor. Worst chilaquiles ive had. Beans had no flavor , taste like they were boiled in water and nothing else. Another thing I didnt like is that not only do they charge for their chips and salsa but they taste HORRIBLE, its ridiculous when there are restaurants that give you chips and salsa free of charge and they taste great . One of my children had a menudo and the other had tacos de barbacoa. They enjoyed their food , the tacos look pretty big and the small menudo was huge .I don't think I'll be coming back considering that there is much better Mexican food here in northside.

Authentic and fabulous. If you love an authentic mexican breakfast, Amy’s is the place for you. Best Tortillas, taco, salsa. Burritos are huge, tacos filling, many types of Huevos Ranchero which were great. The serving is amazing as Amy and Mary made us feel so welcome! We went back twice. So excited for my food, I forgot to take pic!!!

Loved the menudo!!! One of the best menudo I've had in fort worth! Great flavor, I highly recommend it!!! Update: had a to go order: purchased some more menudo, delicious ? and some breakfast plates, yummy ?, but I I ordered 2 dozen tamales, but they where cold. I was not informed that they are cold... I had to reheat them at home, at least they were good but a bit disappointed about that, especially since I was not told about that. Over still good food, location is a bit small a bit uncomfortable for me.

Was checking this spot out for a long time now. Finally got a chance to try it. That world famous menudo was as tender as I ever had. I mean I was able to eat that with so much east it was unreal. I can wait to go back and try some others dishes but I went for the menudo and it was not disappointing at all.

The #1 best Mexican food in all of Texas.As a chef, that is a big statement to make and very subjective. But after 45 years of eating Mexican food in Texas and I can now definitely say Amy's is the best.It's not cliche, it's not tourist food, it's not average.It's exactly what you would eat if you were at someone's house and all they made was perfect Mexican food their entire life.Plus, Amy is so nice and makes your food right in front of you. Just like she has been doing for the last 25+ years.
I can't believe there is only 21 reviews on here for this restaurant. This place is a hidden gem. I crave this restaurant and we make the drive here whenever we are able to. It's very authentic and tasty food. The place is run by Amy who is so friendly, yet cooking the delicious food for you. It's very clean and everything is made to order. A few of the things we LOVE is the menudo, to die for. Their flour tortillas are huge and homemade. Amy's special is their breakfast and it's not on the menu but delicious!! Don't let me forget their salsa is hit and homemade! You can even buy it by the jar fresh and hot but once it's gone it's gone. That's how fresh it is. Guisada is really good and all their breakfast tacos are amazing!

I’m a coffee drinker, and they had the best tasting coffee I have had (in a restaurant) in a long time. It had a good bold rich flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Menudo was great!! I would have to agree with other comments that it’s the BEST in Fort Worth. The service was great. Will definitely be back

I’m a coffee drinker, and they had the best tasting coffee I have had (in a restaurant) in a long time. It had a good bold rich flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Menudo was great!! I would have to agree with other comments that it’s the BEST in Fort Worth. The service was great. Will definitely be back
