Went there today and got a baked potato with chopped beef. I was not able to finish it and the flavor was good. I know some of the prices went up under new owners but I feel the food quality is better.

Went in for the jalapeño cheese sausage and boy it hit the spot, absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go again and try some other items!

Well since panther city took over this spot in downtown Ft worth I had to give it a try and wow the brisket is moist and tasty the beans were good as well and if you try the nutty buddy desert it's game over ... these folks just know how to smoke brisket definitely a must go to spot ?

Since Bailey's BBQ was bought by Panther City BBQ last month it sucks! They went up in price by like $3. My $8 chipped beef sandwich is now $12 and is not really chopped and was mostly fat and cold. Do not waste your time or money at this place. So disappointing!

First visit since the new owners have taken over. Got the sliced brisket sandwich and potato salad. Sandwich was mostly fat with a little meat and sauce. The brisket had no discernable salt, pepper or, smoke taste. Potato salad went from creamy with mustard and pickles to extra salty with no other flavor. I am not sure it is worth going back anymore.

Bailey's BBQ is quite literally a "hole in the wall". We almost walked right past it's so small. With the rustic brick facade on the outside, the place screamed real Texas BBQ!! Man, it did not disappoint!! The sliced brisket melts in your mouth!! Honestly, some of the best brisket I've eaten. And I thought Terry Black's in Austin was good??!! We got a chance to meet the new owners and they were great! Very proud of the quality of their food. So much so, they gave us samples of different meats and then sent us home with a nutter butter cheesecake on the house!! When in downtown FT. Worth, drop into Bailey's BBQ and enjoy!! Highly recommend!!

Bailey's barbecue is an easy go to for lunch. I usually get the chopped brisket sandwich with a soda and drink. They were recently purchased by Panther City BBQ and I'm very excited for the future of this small little downtown lunch location. Service is just a counter with a cashier, there are only a few tables in here. It's a very small place.

Got small portion paid for double meat. It was moist but the price and portion will prevent me from returning.

There was a line when we came in, and there was still a line when we left… it’s not that the service is slow… people are coming in for their food. It’s one of the best we tried in the city?? staff are friendly tooWe ate fast we forgot to take pictures.

This place is open for one reason. And that it's a 'hole in the wall' BBQ joint that's grandfathered in and handy for the downtown lunch crowd. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich. The bun was so dry that I took one bite of it and just ate the meat after that. The meat tasted like it was baked in the oven. The chopped beef sandwich isn't chopped beef but a BBQ slurry mush made from trimmings, filler and BBQ sauce. Nice folks, meat joint and meh food.

Was staying nearby for business and stopped here for some bbq. They were having a brisket sandwich lunch special when I came in so I hopped on that, with a side of green beans and Mac n cheese.First the Mac - well not too much to say here. It wasn’t anything that stood out, kind of just your plane jane Mac n cheese. It was okay, similar to store bought stuff. I wouldn’t recommend but it’s not bad. 2.5/5 star rating.Green beans next - these were a slight step up from the Mac. They had decent flavor but again, nothing to really write home about. Buttery tasting but a tad too much liquid in the container. 3/5 star rating.Brisket sandwich - where to begin…this is not what I was expecting at all. Its appearance was more akin to sloppy Joe than a brisket sandy. The color had a strange orange-ish hue to it. It smelled and tasted pretty good. I’d have preferred actual chopped brisket instead of this mush but again the taste was decent. All things considered and leaning more towards taste it was a 3.3/5 star rating. But I wasn’t a huge fan of how it was done or the texture.

Small place but big flavor. Some of the best sliced brisket I’ve ever had and I’ve had my fair share of brisket being from Texas. It isn’t just about the meat; gotta have good sauce and the spicy sauce is on point. Plan a trip and don’t just wait to be in the area!

Learned something new. There's a barbecue joint been in downtown Fort Worth since 1931. The reason they've been there for almost a 100 years is because they've got some of the best barbecue you you will sink your teeth into. Super tender, very delicious. Sauce not needed‼️?
