The service was fine, actually pretty darn good but adding a tip without letting me know is stealing in my opinion. That deceptive act cost the bartenders money. I’ll tip no less than 20% and usually more if the seevice is good. If you stop in the Basic Bar enjoy, but a word of caution. Look at your bill before tipping. Thankfully I caught it and didn’t get double dipped on the tip.

My kind of bar. Literally true to the name, it’s very basic. But it has pool tables, a great staff, and cheap drinks. They do have a decent top shelf selection though if you’re looking for a nicer cocktail or a good whiskey.

I may be a bit of a cynic. But I was shocked to find a ?️? friendly bar right near my hotel downtown Ft. Worth. So I went. It really was great friendly locals and tourists like me a bit shocked. But that faded away to strong drinks. Good prices and yes, even met a dog while I was here. That made it. Bea the bartender made the visit even more memorable. I have a different view of Ft. Worth thanks to this place!
