I found this bakery after searching for sweets near my job. I stumbled upon this location and been in love ever since. The holiday themed cookies are delicious! Soft and not doughy. I’ve bought some for home and my students. Also, customer service is lovely. My students won’t stop raving about these cookies since I’ve surprised them with them.

Came to Blue Bonnet Bakery with high expectations after checking their website. I was disappointed. They don't really have a great variety of pastries. Mostly cookies. We ordered turkey clubs from the lunch menu. The menu says turkey clubs come in a croissant, so I asked if I could switch for wheat toast. My friend however ordered as it is and he was actually charged extra for the croissant even though the menu says the sandwich comes in a croissant. The attendant asked us what we wanted as our sides, we got fruit. She failed to let us know sides aren't included, they are charged. Which is fine, we paid, but the way she asked she made it sound as they were included. They also don't have milk substitutes (almond, coconut, soy, etc). The food was bland, very basic. Portions were big though, but I could have made better at home. The building is pretty, but personally, I didn't like the set up. It felt like we were in a cheap cafeteria.

Great little bakery renovated from an old church. Does good wedding cakes. Cookies were soft but not doughy. I don't usually go for cake and they make some great cake. Moist, flavorful, and none of the plastic tasting icing. If you are looking for a cake, I would recommend getting it from this bakery.
Luv their ckn salad and their cookies. Lots of great treats.

I ordered a Lemon Meringue Pie two weeks ago to pick up today, Feb. 9th at 4 o'clock. They called me at 12:45 on Feb. 9th and told me they were out of an ingredient and asked if I can pick up the pie tomorrow? Wow is all I can say. Five hours before the Birthday Party.

Had a gender reveal cake done and at pickup the cake looked nothing like the reference I sent them. Had to wait an hour and the second cake was still missing the writing on top. Got a few cookies while we waited and they were the terrible. Thin, lacked flavor and they didn’t seem fresh kinda stale.Staff was clearly annoyed they made the cake wrong twice and had to correct it.Follow up on the cake, filling was the wrong color and there was such a small line of filling we couldn’t tell cutting with a wine flute. Thank you Blue Bonnet for a terrible experience throughout.
My family, and my business, have been ordering cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and most of all, Birthday cakes from BBB for 20+ years. My birthday was last week, turned 52, and my daughter ordered my special birthday cake a week before. All I wanted was a chocolate on marble sheet cake with “HBD Dad” on it. It looked good but when we served it up to friends and family everyone had the same look on their face, me included. It was awful. The icing around the edges hard, the cake was stale, and there was barely a hint of marble, mostly an odd color of yella. Later that night I told my wife I was taking it back the next morning and asking for a fresh cake. When I got there I told the two girls at the counter about the bad cake, took the cake back in, minus 5-6 pieces. The girls took down my info and said the manager would call me to discuss my options. I didn’t want a refund or credit. Just a new, fresh cake. The manager finally called me at 2:30pm. After sharing with her our experience with said bday cake, she was very apologetic, professional, and took ownership of the poor quality, in agreement it was stale and without the expected marble. She wanted to make it right, and asked what I wanted. She was going to bring in one of the bakers the next day to make it. I just wanted the cake my daughter had ordered. It was ready the next day at 4pm! When I picked it up I could already smell the sweetness and freshness. We cut into it that evening, night and day difference. Probably the best cake I’ve ever had from there. I applaud BBB and the manager. Mistakes are made every day and not a lot of people take ownership and make it right. I have shared this story with several friends and family, and I encouraged those who haven’t ordered from here before to give them a call! This is my go to spot for Christmas gifts for my neighbors and coworkers. The “monkey/sweet”bread is delightful. I have had a few other baked goods that were tasty also, but everyone I gift with the bread loves it.

This has been a few months but someone asked me for a referral and this transaction popped back into my mind. I ordered basic baby girl shower cookies. I gave instructions of mostly pink, types of shapes with show flakes..... 1-most cookies were dominantly GRAY with a bit of pink. 2-WAY too many snowflakes compared to baby shapes 3-packed in a large box with several breaking before the shower and I hadn't moved them hardly at all. 4-when I sent my disappointment, NO response at all Bad service, bad communication, simply didn't care about their cookies or business. Very poorly done. They seemed to have forgotten a lot in all their years in business.
