Some perspective on my rating. We have dined at many Bobs steakhouses over the years and never have had a bad experience until now. Unsure what happened last night but the service was mostly nonexistent, the food came out very late and cold, and we ultimately had to leave without eating our dinner because we had a prior engagement. I'm hopeful. This was an exception to the rule, but needed to share my comments for those that may be interested. On a positive note, the manager did offer to compensate us for all of our food, and we only had to pay for our drinks that we had already consumed.

The food here is so good! The Steaks were too notch, cooked to perfection. Appetizers were all delicious! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who appreciates a good steak.

We had a fantastic dinner here. They were happy to allow us to split a meal. Ordered the 18 Oz ribeye!

Bobs is in my top 5 steakhouses in the country. Ever since my first experience in the mid 90's, I have been a loyal fan. The Good - As always, the steaks. In our party of 7, we had a variety of cuts with one wagu partner. The steaks at Bobs are always well cut, seasoned, and prepared. Of you are there, just commit to the beef. Carrot - yes, I said it, the carrot. Every dish comes with Bob's amazing root. I've tried for years to describe this to others but have never been able to replicate the amazing side. I

My wife and I went for Valentine's Day. It wasn't on my top 5 steak houses, but it's now in my top 3! Our server, sorry I can't remember her name, very pleasant blonde lady was AMAZING! Not only did she take great care of us, the conversation with her was outstanding! We had a 5pm seating and the noise was perfect! The harpist was excellent and the noise level was right on, especially since I am deaf in one ear. The pickles were not on the tables due to it being a special day, but the server brought us some and I wound up taking an order home! The server knew enough about wine without being a Sommelier that she turned me onto to a Malbec that I have since bought multiple bottles of! BRAVO! Our steaks were perfect, the sides were amazing, but we had to take it home. It was just as amazing the next day! We will definitely be back at Bob's!!! Only downside was an obnoxious @sshole sitting at the bar making stupid comments to the bartender, but I don't blame the restaurant for that.

She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Cheryl for being so wonderful! Vince &

My first time here, and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it from the moment I walked in. The customer service was a very pleasant experience. My waitress was amazing, she recommended a lot of things and everything that she recommended tasted so good!

We loved it. The Filet Mignon was divine. The salads were excellent. The potatoes were delicious. The included side was a carrot which wasn't bad but wasn't special. That's the only reason I didn't put 5 stars on the food. Service was great. Dessert was so good. We were full from dinner but still couldn't resist the sweet treat.

I took my wife out to this restaurant for our anniversary to which we were both pleasantly taken care of. The biggest thing that stands out was that they would scrape the crumbs off the table, which we thought was neat. Overall five stars!

Took my family for dinner for the first time and was unimpressed. Took so long to get served drinks, appetizers, and food. I usually don't complain, but the waits were ridiculous.

We decided to go a little early to beat the Valentines rush. The atmosphere was simply amazing. The service was top-tier.. But the steak was so tough that my husband was tired of chewing. It was hilarious to me but not to him because the steak was $120. I just feel like the pasta in my scampi should've been washed where it wouldn't stick together. But again overall it was a good dinner. The food was just not what we expected with the prices. Not sure we'll go again but again the atmosphere in the service will bring you back. It was the food that was questionable.

My husband and I love Bob's Steak & Chop House. We have tried the 3 locations in Dallas and of they always exceed our expectations. Yes, it is pricey but worth the special occasions.

Giving my food review of Bob's Chophouse in Fort Worth. You know i will give you my honest, unfiltered thoughts because I rely on Yelp and friends to recommend good places for my husband and me to try. Let's start at the beginning. Jar of whole pickles and red peppers on table. I don't know what the heck they are trying to do here but those were awful in our opinion. Just no and we love pickles. Atmosphere was awesome and so was our server Heidi. The Moscato was perfection smooth and sweet just like I like it. 5 stars for having that as their go to by the glass Moscato. Appetizer, the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail was a 3 for me. Shrimp was delicious and the dollop of horseradish was just right but too over sauced. It lost the delicate and delicious Shrimp flavor with a drowning of cocktail sauce. Salad course, husband had Blue Cheese Salad that he said was good but not great and I had a Chopped Tomato and Mozzarella Salad that was what I called wet and mushy. Too much olive oil mixed with juice from mushy tomatoes. Giving 2 Stars on that because husband said his salad was okay to good, not great. Entrees, husband had the Ribeye which was excellent. Cooked to perfection and the seasonings were fabulous. His steak a 5 and my Maryland Crab Cake was a 3.5. Definitely does not compare to Oceanaire's Crab Cake in my opinion. Sides, all the sides were wonderful and in my opinion the special side they featured last night which was Creamed Jalepeno Creme Brûlée Corn was outstanding. Dessert, Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. A good dessert but a heavier cake consistency than I prefer. I like a moist, melt in your mouth milk chocolate texture and this was not. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the evening. Dropped $240 and walked away still looking for the next great restaurant to try. Most likely will not be back to Bob's. A last thought our server noticed I did not eat my Tomato and Mozzarella Salad. She asked if I wanted something else or take it off the bill. I felt uncomfortable asking to take it off the bill like I was someone that could not afford my tab so I said no. Really in hindsight I feel, that a restaurant of this caliber, she should have said no worries I am removing from bill because that is our policy. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. If she and the restaurant would have done that I would not have felt "weird" and would have given more thought to a return visit but she did not and it is okay because she asked. My point is it should not have been a question.

It was an outstanding birthday event, albeit too loud in the venue to converse with my companion without screaming. The venue was full of guests, which partially explains it, but it still distracted me from the ambiance. The food and service, however, were five-star.
