Tasha - To me is a leader, entrepreneur, amazing Woman CEO and the Mom of the Near South Side.Everything I go to Bodega she remembers my favorite items and saves them for me so I can buy them. She shows empathy and kindness and listens to you & authentically cares about you.Three weeks ago my mental health was deteriorated for personal reasons and I came in and Tasha quickly made me smile. I don't have a Mom but it was nice how she reached out and asked me what's wrong and told me "everything would be ok".Her paninis are food for the soul, the pies she makes are yummy and go very well with the sparkling wine she sells. She sells Texas made goods!!!!!!I recruit and refer people to her business non-stop. Please go and even if you are visiting and want a taste of Fort Worth kindness - this is the place!!!
Five Stars!!! Wife and I went today and everything was amazing! Had the Reuben and wowzers it was great! Such a fun place! Will definitely be back!
Great local market, shop owner is very kind. The deviled eggs are a must!!! Will be shopping there Tuesday for my birthday.
I go here everyday... Literally. I work across the street and its so so hard NOT to keep going back. To start, They have the absolute best customer service. They are the sweetest people ever!!!!! Along with the best Sandwiches/Panini's I've ever had. This shop embodies what Every small business should and thats, Impeccable/First Class Service with a phenomenal product! Yes, they are a little pricy BUT after you experience them time and time again you soon realize how undervalued they actually are. I have and will continue to go back again and again thanks to how absolutely amazing they truly are along with the amazing food!***I highly recommend the Roast Beef and/or the Turkey and Bri.
Best spot in downtown Fort Worth for Sandwiches. The lunch there is amazing — on top of that, they have great prices, great food, great bodega selections, a great staff team and great music playing in the background. This is a hidden gem in Fort Worth & it’s a MUST GO.
Best little spot for some grocery items. Must try is any of the prepared items in the fridge, the ham and Gouda panini, and ALL the desert items (the chocolate cookies with mint and chocolate drizzle over top ?). The staff is wonderful as well
So I LOVE Bodega. Everything I’ve had has been so good. It’s like eating something made for you from some one that loves you. From the creamy polenta, sandwiches, soups, meatloaf, chicken dinners, baked goodies—it’s perfect. Also the Damn Girl Grilled Cheese is the best!
We loved this place instantly! Grain free groceries?! Smiles and warm welcomes?? We'll keep coming back!
Cute little Bodega with the most captivating wine selection on this side of town!! Tremendously impressive wine, delicious coffee and breakfast snacks (try the fruity pebbles rice krispie treat!!), sandwiches, tasty salads, wraps..... seriously awesome and incredibly well priced store!! Highly recommended :)
The vegetarian panini
Cozy, friendly shop with amazing owners and staff; full of fine cheeses, breads, local coffee, wine and a Cafe in the early day!! Not to be missed if your in Southside Funkytown!
Bodega on South Main is such a sweet place! Their muffins are delicious, as well as the paninis. My husband and I live around the corner and during the snow storm, Bodega was able to offer us a warm meal. They also have fresh produce which is great for those like me who always forget at least one ingredient to a meal. I highly recommend!
simply fantastic spot. great, fresh groceries. quick, hot, and delicious meals. really solid black coffee too. y’all please keep shopping here. Southside needs it.
The Bodega has all your essential groceries. This little gem has been so incredibly useful during this snow storm. They have remained open each day serving the locals here at the Southside. The service is always helpful and courteous. They have amazing grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato basil soup too!
This neighborhood has been missing some thing exactly like this, very niche & wonderfully curated items.Stop by do groceries, get flowers, fresh veggies, coffee/tea or pick up a to go box for lunch , have a Reuben or a veggie Panini both incredibly delicious savory and extremely filling. As you can see it’s very inviting and warm. Reminds me of urban bodega in my home city of NY.
