Food was top notch and I highly recommend this place. Be aware it’s a bit on the pricey side but for a special occasion it’s well worth the money.

Amazing food every single time. Fried quail legs were a perfect start, followed by an excellent elk steak and the best crème brûlée you’ll ever eat!

Took clients from California to showcase true Ft. Worth eating and Bonnell's did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service superb. Our server did an excellent job providing recommendations and made sure that my clients dined like kings. I only wish I would have had room for dessert.

My initial response to the menu was skeptical. A melange of different cuisines with a southwestern core. But then we eat!!! I rarely get to try new things from an old standby...but the Carpaccio was outstanding and allowed me to experience the"caper berry"....thank you for that chef!!! The perfectly balanced flavors of the Lamb shank was EXCEPTIONAL! The flour less chocolate cake might as well been chocolate ganache...very rich!!..but something as simple as a garnish of rare black cherries....to which I have never experienced...proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Chef Bonnell's love of culinary arts comes through in spades in his food. THANK YOU CHEF!!!

Last weekend, my family and I decided to dine at Bonnell’s, and let me tell you, it was an experience that should come with a complimentary laugh track! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was as warm as a freshly baked biscuit.

The menu had us all drooling like kids in a candy store. I mean, who knew that eating could feel like an Olympic sport? Between trying to decide who gets the last bite of the fried quail and debating the merits of the grilled elk versus the blackened redfish, we were practically in a culinary wrestling match. Spoiler alert: everyone won!

The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish tasting like it was crafted by a chef who clearly loves their job and has a flair for the dramatic. Every bite was a delightful surprise, and I half-expected a marching band to come out to celebrate our meal.

Our server was delightful, juggling our orders with the skill of a circus performer. She made sure our glasses were never empty and our plates were always full. I think she deserves a medal for managing our family's quirky requests with grace and humor.

Overall, Bonnell’s is a fantastic spot for a family dinner where you can enjoy great food, share a few laughs, and leave with a full belly and a happy heart. Just a heads up: be prepared for some friendly food debates and possibly a few food comas afterward!

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Food was outstanding our server Garrett was very friendly and personable. When he mentioned they had there own garden I was very thrilled to hear it, I garden as well and home grown food just tastes better. At the end of our wonderful meal the chef was kind enough to show me the garden. Doesn't get any fresher than that if only more restaurants were sustainable this way. This was a genuinely lovely experience.

Filet was absolutely incredible. It’s hard to do well done and still keep it moist but the chefs are clearly super talented. My best friend got the lamb shank and would not stop raving about the grits. All of the drinks were perfect.
Most importantly, Jamie was the best part of the entire dinner. Dinner service was incredible. She was hands down a huge part of our bday dinner celebration and made it so special. Thank you!!!

Okay, driven past here for 5 years never being able to make it for dinner around 4:45 p.m. when they open - BUT this Wednesday my husband wanted to try this place because of the fresh veggies and herbs grown on site. WOW!!! 10 stars, we cannot believe the amazing dinner we had at the bar, our bartender was so good we never left and ate all courses at the bar with her. We had steak and lamb, both were some of the best we ever had. No wonder this place was packed all the time. So highly recommended!!!!!
