Okay, what should I say about Canon. The drinks are great! The service is phenomenal. The food is tasty. So why 4 stars? The duck had feathers on it. Stay away from the duck and you literally can’t go wrong with this amazing restaurant.

It is alright, very small menu. They have a bigger menu for the alcoholic drinks than the food, felt more like a bar. Even with a reservation, the wait time was no joke (not including the time to wait for water, take the order, then recieve the food). For the quality of the food, the wait was not justified. The staff is very friendly though, I did feel welcomed.

Go for the wall paper, stay for the food. That is what I tell people. Cannon is a renovated home and the wall paper decorating their dining area is gorgeous. But obviously the food is why you’re there and it does not disappoint. They have the best happy hour menu, too. Our faves are the scallion pancakes and the mushrooms in soy paper. Also don’t miss the Effen Bob Barker.

Great food! Waiter was great but it never hurts to write down orders! Forgot 2 of the items we ordered.

The food is not traditional Chinese, I didn't pay great attention to their menu before we get there. It was a relaxed atmosphere and food comes in waves meant to be shared. We were late for our reservations but they got us right in anyway.

You indicate your open till 10:00. Called to place a to go order at 9:30 and you indicate last call has been done and you're not taking orders?

Not your ordinary Chinese food. Tasty but smaller portions. Very fresh not a lot of cornstarch used here I thank goodness. Sauces are very interesting.

This restaurant serves amazing food, I mean out of control delicious. Last time I was there the pink-haired hostess told me there was no room for me and my girlfriend to sit so I had to invite myself to sit at the clearly empty bar lol! From there our culinary adventure was one full of bliss. The bartender (Waldo I think was his name) masterfully crafted us delicious cocktails. He was very busy and yet provided us with exceptional service. The cooks deserve a gold medal; every dish is a work of art. All in all it was a great experience and we'll be returning soon!

Service took too long. There was not enough protein in the meal. For goodness sake's, our drinks did not get served for like 30 minutes!!

It's a very nice relaxing place. They have fresh flowers on every table. The entire place is really clean including the restrooms. They have a 1 page menu with a few happy hour half price choices too. We started with pork and shrimp egg rolls and a bottle of red wine since they were half price for happy hour. We then ordered the kung pao chicken, steamed jasmine rice, green beans and duck fried rice. It was a nice amount for 2 people with a little left to take home. We decided to order the chrysthamum custard to eat there and a piece of the chocolate cake to go. Everything was delicious and our waitress, Valerie, was awesome!

I couldn’t believe how great the food was! The service was awesome, the atmosphere was awesome, and the drinks were AWESOME. Highly recommend the Jam Session drink (I think that’s what it was called) it tasted so much like a cobbler. Definitely going here any chance I get.

Excellent food! Me and my wife had Brittney as our waitress/bartender and she was awesome.

One of our favorite restaurants in Fort Worth. Get the spring rolls with spicy mustard, and a lychee martini.

As someone who adores Asian food and a foodie as well, I was curious about all the hype about this authentic Chinese food. I saw one of my friends post that she was there recently so I told my hubby to let's go check it out. I was surprised that when I asked for hot sauce instead of the hot oil they automatically serve the wonderful waiter told me it was an extra $1.50 for it. But that's not even the issue here! We ordered a few items including two egg drop soups. Well we both were surprised to get it and this not being even close to the Authentic egg drop soup we have ever had! Get this as a young girl I worked at a Chinese restaurant washing dishes and ate the authentic food the cooks cooked only for us the workers and themselves so I know about Chinese food because asian and Chinese food is mostly what We eat on a daily basis! We look forwards to enjoy it and this time we had our Hopes really up!! Well the food was nothing less than disappointment the egg drop soup tasted like it had blood in it! The Chinese rice had only Chinese sausage! Nothing more! The sweet ribs well let me tell you if you are looking to eat desert instead of food there we'll go ahead snd order that dish and they will give you white rice that's not even jasmine! The rest of the food was ok but when we go to a restaurant we want great food! Not just ok! Service was great no complains there! The bigger issue is not even all that I just wrote above! I went to sleep and I was awaken with a horrid nausea and diarrhea! I puke both sides! It's not funny so please don't laugh! Food poison at best! I am in bed nursing my mouth and my butt have drank more apple cider vinegar than even in my life! I had to kill whatever poison they served me at the restaurant! I am not even a diva I eat a hole in the walls snd I have never gotten this sick! Please who ever wrote those nice reviews tell me how much y'all got paid or how many drinks y'all got to do such great reviews?! I will never eat there again that's an under statement!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Worth! It's a great date night or takeout option. Everything on their menu is delicious and always ask if they have any special menu items. They don't disappoint! Their staff is also great - super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
