I honestly don't care what anyone thinks but as a Miami native of over 13 years and a hard-core lover of Jamaican cusine....

I can clearly say this place has the most authentic rhaatid hot fyre food this side of dfw. Come on down and get a plate for yourself and tell me I'm wrong

This was my first time visiting, and I had such a great experience. I was torn between the jerk chicken and the curry goat with rice and cabbage. The owner (I’m assuming) was super helpful and even let me sample the jerk chicken, which was absolutely delicious!

In the end, my taste buds were really set on the goat, and it did not disappoint. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The cabbage was a great side light but tasty, and the beef patty had that classic flaky crust!!

Even though I didn’t go with the jerk chicken, it definitely didn’t take away from the experience at all. Everything I tried was full of authentic Caribbean flavor, and the customer service was top-notch. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. I’ll definitely be going back for both the food and the service!

I wanted to love this place but in trying it for the first time, I was unfortunately disappointed. I don’t know if it was an off day but the food was so bad. The rice was overcooked and soggy. The stew chicken had zero flavor and tasted like water. The jerk chicken barely had flavor and looked as though it were boiled. The beef patties were also severely lacking in flavor. I went in with an open mind but Dallas just doesn’t know how to do Caribbean food. My family is Caribbean and I grew up eating these foods so I hope they were having a bad day. The staff is super nice though.

When it comes to food tastes, this is by far the best Jamaican restaurant I have been to in Texas so far! I love all their foods! Great job!

UPDATED REVIEW: Unfortunately, they just aren't consistent. I brought out of town family here, and they went back several times during their first visit. Their second visit out this way was so disappointing. The food wasn't right, and they decided not to go back.

I've also been disappointed by the Brown Stew chicken being too dry and the oxtail plate leaving some pieces tender and other pieces not. This review comes after multiple letdown trips, and I'm truly saddened by this. I doubt I'll give them another chance.

OLD REVIEW: Delicious! If we lived closer, they'd have our whole paycheck. ?
