The young man at the counter was very helpful when we told him it was our first time there. He took time to go over the coffee menu and explain each one, pointing out the most popular and the sweetest and explaining the others. The coffee drink order came out quickly, along with my friend's concha, which she commented was super delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, unassuming, authentic. It's a place you can get lost in conversation and then finally realize you've been there for hours...which we did. Five stars for Casa Azul Coffee... providing excellent coffee and service while preserving the rich culture of The People.
Update: I have to say my last visit on 10/4, was quite different. My coffee order took a bit longer, and the setting was a bit less coffee house and more party house. The overhead speakers playing usually a nice smooth selection of Latin music was replaced with tunes of a more top 40 dance vibe(Gasolina type), blaring from not the overhead, but somewhere by the restrooms? was my guess. Disappointing; it was hard to hear my friend sitting in the chair next to me. I understand management has the right to their music choice. I respect that. I just chose to update my review to set proper expectations. Sad to say, I don't think I will be returning for a while to what had become my favorite coffee house.

Love this place. Stoped in to get a tea and finish some work before heading to my next appt. Joseph was so personable and accommodating. They even have a patio to enjoy with good weather. A must see!

My favorite spot when Joseph is here, but staff cannot handle the business when it’s busy. 30 minute wait in drive thru this morning Sat 10/4 and then 10 more minutes for the drink to come out. There was only 1 car ahead :(
I love coming here to work or meet with friends and clients. The atmosphere is always uplifting and peaceful, and unlike many Fort Worth coffee shops, I never struggle to find a comfortable spot to sit. It’s family-friendly too, with a designated kids’ space and even toys out on the patio. The service is excellent, the drinks are both delicious and affordable, and my personal favorite is the Matcha Colada 🍍
Second time in a row where me and a group showed up to have coffee at 6 am before our work, and the coffee shop stayed closed. Decided that we won’t be coming back to this coffee shop, this is clearly a perpetual issue for them.

Drove out from Dallas to meet up with someone at 6 AM on a Tuesday and I’m currently sitting in front of the building at 6:20 while it’s still closed with no sign of anyone showing up.
