Terrible service, under staff. The place wasn’t busy it was slow and still took long to get seated once we where seated they took 30mins to come help us ONLY because we asked if someone was going to help us if not no one would’ve came up to our table no drinks or anything in those 30mins we where waiting to get helped. Only one person serving ALL tables. The food was well cooked & delicious. There were other employees and only one single person taking orders and serving food. The waiter looked overwhelmed with work but he was nice.

Good enough for a bite and will return. Prices are affordable especially at the bar. Getting cocktails here and not breaking the bank is reason enough to come here and often. Was late so staff was winding down but they were not on their A game and we were left on an island for awhile. Must have been busy as well as the floor was noticeably covered in debris and tables were sticky. Food was okay. Nothing amazing but none of it was bad. Just a little bland. Regardless, for the price it was solid. You can always add salt.

Great comfort food at great prices. They even have an on going All Day Everyday Happy Hour offering 16oz Budlight for $2.99.
Our nice waiter was a bit hard to find and only showed up for refills on drinks, to take the order and bring the food. I had to grab the boxes on my own for the leftover food. And I cleared the bill on the little machine on the table before ths waiter came to check on us or ask if we needed anything else, because he was hard to find.

And Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen? They didn't just nail it; they set a new standard, especially for takeout. It’s truly impressive to find this level of execution from a brand I know and trust, right here in North Richland Hills.

Stepping in from the Texas heat, anticipating that first bite at home, the aroma from that container alone was a promise. And my word, what a promise kept. The Philly Cheesesteak was pure artistry. The steak? Perfectly thin, with that beautiful sizzled char, and loaded with rich, beefy flavor—never greasy, always tender. The cheese was a glorious, molten dream, perfectly folded into the meat, giving that ideal gooey stretch you crave. And the roll? It held its own, a perfect blend of crusty outside and soft inside, soaking up every bit of deliciousness without ever getting soggy. Even after the drive, this masterpiece arrived in impeccable form.

Then there were those golden hot fries. Not just a side, but a star in their own right. Visually perfect, they were astonishingly crisp on the outside and wonderfully fluffy inside, staying piping hot through the entire meal. Seriously, a masterclass in what a fry should be.

Wife, toddler, and I came in for lunch on a Saturday and somehow there wasn't a wait. Maddy (or Maddie - I'm not sure) was our server and she did a fantastic job taking care of us! We were around a corner in a pretty secluded spot (which was great) and even though our table wasn't visible from anywhere other than standing right in front of it, I don't think we ever went without a refill or any kind of need. Fantastic service!
The food was great too! I find it hard to believe many people can eat here without taking some food home for later - the country fried steak was huge. Heck, even the side salad was big! Wife had buffalo chicken wraps and our little boy had chicken tenders; everything was delicious! I can't believe it's my first time to try Cheddar's, we'll definitely be back in the near future.
