First time coming to Chicken Express Houston doesn't have one at least where I use to live. Chicken tenders are perfect you can taste 😋 the flavor seasoning. Not tough Chicken comes apart. Mashed potatoes 🥔 were also delicious and their rolls omg 😲!!!! They also have Mac and cheese 🧀 and oakcra.
Absolutely 💯 percent live the fried pickles. Seasoned appropriately and they are not salty at all.

One thing about me is I am lazy I will not sit somewhere and write a review. But I have never been more disappointed in my life, my fried pickles were missing the gravy was cold and they gave me bottom of the bag chicken ALSO cold btw. I understand they don’t get paid enough, as a server neither do I but I spent my hard earned money on this food and it’s foul. Do better

If you read my reviews, 9 times out of 10, they're positive reviews. But the food I got yesterday at this location was SO BAD that maybe a bad review will help correct it? I went there about 4 pm, and all I ordered was two fried chicken legs. No sides, no drink. That's it. Just chicken. This chicken was so dry. It was obvious to me that it was old chicken that had been sitting there for a long time. I think they tried to salvage it by reheating it in a microwave. They also threw in a dry, hard, crumbly biscuit that was so hard on the outside that my guess is that it had been reheated at least three times. I almost lost a tooth trying to bite into it. It was awful. And expensive. $7 for that crappy excuse for fried chicken. Again, JUST chicken. And they couldn't be bothered.

I put in an order on uber eats for pickup for myself. I went to the drive through, gave them my name.They said they had the order and to pull around to the window. I get to the window and they say they never had my order and then come back and say someone already picked up your order from uber, and it was a delivery. They blatantly lied to me and did not give me my food I had paid for when they were the ones who gave my food to the incorrect people. Then I call back and ask for the store manager's name, and they tell me they don't know it. A bunch of young kids who don't care working here and management is worthless.

I am waiting for someone to tell me this was all a joke. Drive thru order that took longer than it should considering the shape of the food. The order of okra was burnt, the order of potatoes was soured, rolls idk how to describe the taste other than not good, chicken you could use in a pick up match of baseball it was so hard, and cheddar poppers dark on the outside cold in the middle. The only thing we ordered that was edible was the gravy and hardly enough to feed 4 people. I tried to call, but the phones doesn't work. I would pass this location up and use any other. A wasted $41 and a hungry family.
