I would give them negative stars if it were allowed. On Sunday February 18, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM, my lovely wife and I went to buy some chicken. I ordered the 20 chicken strip dinner, to which I was informed they didn't have chicken strips. It would be an 8 to 9 minute wait. I said, no worries, we'll have the 12 family chicken mixed dinner. To which the same drive-thru person told me they didn't have the chicken available either. If you are in South Fort Worth don't go to the one located at 124 McPherson Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76140. They may not have chicken available. We drove to the location in Burleson and we were helped immediately. This location should take note and learn from this location.

Drive thru, it took a good 8 - 10 minutes to get our food. There were at least 5 people working and only 1 taking orders and putting food in the boxes. Our food sat on the counter a good while before they finally gave it to us then we still had to wait for our drink. At least the food was delicious. Service needs work.

One of my go to spots for a quick lunch! Bre is great! The kids in the afternoon are very respectful, Kai is very kind. The younger cook during the day Javen is very bubble... Love it!Go back to the old fries please...

Rude as can be here and charge for everything extra even sauce. I can’t believe that. This is the first one that I’ve been to that has done that. I will never come back to this one again. I will drive further to go to one that treats you better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We paid for extra family items and did not receive them. We also did not receive our sides in our meals as well. I asked the manager of the location if there was anyway we could be compensated with a meal voucher for a free meal for our troubles and we were told that we would have to drive back 15 minutes with the food that they did give us (and it could not be eaten on) with a receipt. That would be 30 minutes travel time plus cold food. Never again will I visit this location.
Today we experienced the drive thru line being extremely long we decided to go inside and it was also busy. The staff did a great job with executing the rush. Team member even brought our food out to us. Surprisingly great experience.

Walked inside to order because the drive thru line was long and I still waited 30 minutes to receive my order. The manager with the pink hair/shaved hair clearly doesn’t know how to run the business. The guy that took my order was professional and courteous. This place needs a change in management as it used to fire on all cylinders before. Customers in drive thru had to come back inside to get what their order was missing.

I stopped at the Chicken Express on Wichita Street in Forest Hill yesterday. I noticed that, where in the past, their family meals came with 2 sides, they now are limited to 1 side and biscuits. I was buying for 8 adults and a toddler, so needed large amount of food. Ordered 20 chicken strips with 1 side and 6 biscuits, 8 pieces of chicken with 1 side and 6 biscuits, large Mac & cheese, small coleslaw and 4 jalapeño. The cost for this was just under $80. Not only do I feel the price was absolutely ridiculous, the size of the chicken strips were very much on the small size. I don't know if this particular restaurant is company owned or a franchise or if the owner is told what price to charge. I do know my family will not be purchasing food from any Chicken Express due to both price and quality.

Food was fine, as fried fast food goes. But the wait was laborious. For reasons unknown. They offered no excuse or apology. Which is fine, they didn't have to, but I swear I was there for upwards of 20 minutes. Sitting in the drive-thru, sucking down the exhaust of the enormous pick-up trick in front t of me. Hard to fathom. Try here if your need for chicken tenders outweighs your free time, otherwise maybe look for another option.
