I wanted to update this... Still is the Best Chicken Express around in my book. Im just really disappointed in the maintenance of their tea containers. I know they make fresh tea...it falls in who is cleaning the containers. The tea will have a bad flavor and has happened a few times so I just change it to water. Today my husband went inside to get us a tea and when we got home its so bad on the sweet becausd I can't drink it. But only days the sweet taste spoiled but both teas have a mold taste. And over 25 years in food industry I can tell you that is from improper cleaning of the tank and nozzles. Several other Chicken Express I've had sand experience. I will have to give Benbrook location a Thumbs up šš» on that with their tea. I think maybe once I ever had that problem there but for the just part they are properly cleaned and you can taste the difference. I love the service and the food in River Oaks out of all the chicken Express I have been to. I will be glad when they fix the tea container situation. š

Came to order the 8pc boneless wings after not eating most of my workout so I was HUNGRY. Finally got my food and got a surprise of 2 extra wings šš½ and the food was fresh!

Normally no issues, but on the last drive-through, they screwed the order up, they gave us corn on the car, but instead of mashed potatoes. How do you hear one for the other? And of course you donāt discover this until you get home. The chicken used to be normal size but this order felt like they had cut the chicken tenders into thirds. It was so tiny. Definitely if this was your first time ordering this is not worth the money This is the second time weāve had issues. Probably wonāt be back.

Very bad service order a side of fries and they didnāt even give them to me order half and half and refuse to give me spicy chicken payed over 55$ bucks and they didnāt even car to get my order right.

The soda fountain spouts were covered in mold! It looked like they havenāt been cleaned in weeks!

The girl in pink hair working the window got our order wrong . When I went inside all the employees were busy fixing orders and had their backs turned to registers. The all in a sudden she walks over from her station, as the other employees are using tongs to fill orders, she reaches in bare hands into the chicken ,grabbs a piece and walks back to her area. If you visit this location be aware.

Chicken is always good, but the service was kinda slow. Ordered a breast and thigh and was told 15 minutes. No big deal, Iāll wait. 25 minutes later I checked and was told 4 minutes. 6 minutes later I had to ask for the food again. Tasted fine, but kinda disappointed in the time.
Every time I go I get the freshest breasts and fries and an Arnold palmers thanks to Katelyn sheās the sweetest and her mother is to! I love this location I drive 20 mins! Iāve also done reviews on TikTok!

030725: They've gone and done it again! Friday evening my family wanted fried chicken so they sent me for Chicken Express. I got there and the staff was great! They had to help me when I called home to describe the menu items so my family could tailor their dinners. Well, I made it home with a dinner that was missing a side dish. I called about it and they said I had to bring back the whole meal for them to add in the missing side order. They said they'd give me a gallon the sweet tea for my trouble. I don't like sweet tea, but I wanted my mother's dinner to be wonderful, so I stopped eating my dinner and went back to Chicken Express. They provided me with more than a gallon of sweet tea for my trouble! I was able to take my mother a fresh, hot meal, which made her happy. When my momma's happy, I'm happy! Thank you, Kaitlyn for making my mama smile!
Before: It was my first time eating at Chicken Express, as I tend away from all fried food. But this location was so good, they make it harder for me to tend away.

Ivan was an amazing cashier and made sure my order was correct once I ordered it. We forgot serendipity seasoning and chris made sure we got it. They both had so much enthusiasm and excitement yet professionalism about the entire thing it is definitely making me want to come back..
But only during the evening shifts. I have had bad service at this location but this interaction might have finally changed my mind. But only when one of those two work.
Also Love the new hot honey sauce. :)

They literally handed me a cold box of chicken. I love chicken express, but this was the worst service and food. Makes me rethink if I wanna go to another chicken express anytime soon.
Update 1/25/25 : I spoke to Chris about my cold food and he said he would leave a note and that he would make it right, to come by and they will remake my orderā¦. Well the GM almost didnāt want to remake my order bc I didnāt have my receipt even tho I went yesterday. Unbelievable WORST customer service and I had to state my case. Iām not the one who complains and that wants a remake of my order but the food was cold when they handed it to me at the drive thru.
