Ordered a Christmas Decorating kit with 10 cookies for a Christmas party as an activity for the kids at the party we were hosting December 24th. On the day of, I get an email that they were closing early at noon on 12/24 even though this was nowhere on the website when I went to order them for pick up on the 24th. I did not receive their email until the store was already closed. Needless to say, we didnt get the cookies for the party and did not hear back from Cookies by Design until 12/29.
Yes - they kept the payment. As of 1/7/26, they have offered to ship them to my house when I am not home. We also no longer need the cookie decorating kit ordered for a christmas party as the holiday season has now passed.
I have previously ordered from the Cookies By Design store in Arlington and had a much better customer service experience.
