I went on January - 20 - 2026 I got the sandwich plate 2 sides, brisket was very salty, bbq sauce tasted watered down, potato salad not so good, salty taste and Mac and cheese, very watery didn't even taste like Mac and the only that tasted good was the ice tea, but the food not good at all. It was my first time going and my last. I do not recommend the restraunt.

The atmosphere was great. The food was great. Later on on 1/14/2026. I was so disappointed with the establishment and with the bartender who was working last night I understand there was two bartenders working last night. One of them was very cordial and the other one not so much we had got told at 8:25 that was last call and last rounds because it was against the law For Cousin‘s barbecue to sell alcohol after 8:30 PM. I have honestly worked in restaurants and fast food business. For approximately 15 years. And I have never heard of a law that says you have to stop serving alcohol 35 minutes before you close the establishment. I ASK! that this problem gets taken care of promptly and cordially because this is one of our favorite spots to go. My husband had also said that the night before he was there with a couple friends and they had got served till 8:58 PM. So I’m not understanding how at 8:25 PM we were told that the establishment was no longer able to sell alcohol alcoholic beverages. And if that is a rule, I would love to see your clause. Because as I had mentioned before, this is the first time that I had heard of this nonsense.!!!

The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was wonderful. Me and my husband had came and ate there for lunch. We had a girls night out and 35 minutes before the bar closed. We were told by the bartender who was running the bar on 1/14/2026 during night shift we were no longer allowed to get served drinks because it was against the law to serve drinks 30 minutes prior to an establishment closing. I have ran bars and restaurants for over 15 years and I have not been more ashamed of an establishment or more embarrassed of an establishment for them to come up with false excuses to close early. My husband and his friends were just there last night and they had got served till 9:58 PM. Me and the girls that I was with had got cut off at 8:25 and was told it was against the law for them to serve us beer so we went to a different establishment. I just feel that management should be aware of what’s going on. Because this kind of treatment and behavior from the bartender who was trying to argue with me about the established hours is unacceptable. I would like to hear back about what is going to happen to keep the establishment running properly thank you Ms.Rodriguez I am Very disappointed with my service from our bartender

The service was ok considering it was busy. Y they were busy is a mystery. The brisket nachos were ok. The wings were burnt and horrible as well as the fries. I had them tossed! The brisket poppers r wrapped in pork, yet the menu doesn't say that. I replaced them with the wings and fries which were absolutely horrid. I remember getting some dry brisket from the Crowley location by the Kroger. This is the 1st time I've dined inside. What a hugh let down!

Great Texas BBQ spot. Ordered The Deal and got moist brisket, pork ribs and german sausage. The brisket was a winner for sure. Everything had good flavor and was very tender. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely glad we stopped by.

Thank you to all the staff and "ERIC"I have know him since he worked in Crowley Cousins. I was a butcher in the Kroger store in Crowley for 32 years. Being a guy who knows his meat cuts, this establishment serves the best meats in Funky Town Fort Worth and Crowley. Give them some love this coming 2026 year. Let's make them the BBQ destination of Texas.
Came in for dinner and ordered. Tried looking for a table and even though place was pretty empty, many tables were dirty and unbussed while staff were talking in back and looking at their cell phones behind the counter. Touching food , plates and silverware and handling cell phones should be a no no. When food arrived it was cold. Pork ribs were undercooked and cold. Looked like they just squirted BBQ sauce over top before serving. $60 for 2 dinners. Been regulars for 5 years but will consider new places.
PS As you requested we gave you another try and again food arrived cold but this time the sliced brisket was so so so so salty we could not eat it and just left it.

Good bbq. Wish they had turkey. Chopped brisket was excellent. The Crazy Pig was a little to much for me, I will just a regular sandwich with slaw on the side next time. Can't wait to try the fried brisket with Mac & cheese. I always get the beans, which with some of their sause added in is great.
