Sliced brisket sandwich was not so good with little portions of beef and pricey for a small sandwich

Great breakfasts tacos!! Oh yeah, you heard me. Breakfast tacos that have BBQ in them. Heaven! Reasonably priced breakfast tacos with bomb salsa and bacon jam. You have to try it! Can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner. We tried the wagu bacon, burnt ends, jalapeño sausage , and brisket tacos. Delish!!

Went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. My have had the brisket biscuit and it was fantastic. I had the burnt ends biscuit and it was perfect. Burnt ends, peperjack cheese, and a jalapeño jelly on a buttery biscuit was heaven. Be sure to order some sides to go with it. A true taste of Texas.

It has been a while since I've been here, as we live in Weatherford now, but I have eaten there multiple times. He does a fantastic job all the way around. Not only is the BBQ superb, but they also have some of the best breakfast options in Fort Worth. Along with places like Panther City, Dayne's, Goldee's, and Smoke-a-holics, this is one of the very best BBQ spots in Fort Worth.

Great little BBQ spot! We ordered the 3 meat plate that comes with two sides On the plate: Burnt ends, brisket & sausage The two sides: Chipotle mac & potato salad The brisket and sausage were amazing!! We loved that, the only thing we didn't enjoy was the burnt ends. It was just too dry. Like jerky. Tough to chew through but was packed with flavor. Unfortunately because it was too tough we didn't enjoy it at all. The two sides, my bf & i was obsessed with the chipotle macaroni! Man that was super amazing! Super cheesy, packed with flavor. It was a perfect combo with the brisket. It was sad they were out of some sides though but the mac i would highly recommend! If you're looking for a close by & quick service but amazing a** food, I would highly recommend this place! Customer service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Overall experience: 5/5

WOW!! Phenomenal outstanding. Unfortunately we live so far away that this opportunity only presents it self when the hubby is having a procedure. He know now NO PROCEDURES ON MONDAYS. Stopped in for take out today. Brisket, burnt ends, Gouda red pepper sausage, dirty Texan, tato salad and chipotle Mac and cheese. No words can describe the flavor some taste with each bite. My salivary glands kicked into over drive. My favorite BBQ and I hold out for it and won't waste my time going any where else. Being open for breakfast what made me first come here. Breakfast are outstanding also.

My buddy and I headed to Bailey's to give it a try but they were closed due to a family emergency. So we were hunting for somewhere else to eat and he remembered this place. It had some good reviews though not many reviews in total. But we were hungry so we decided to give it a try. Not one of our better experiences. First, let me say that the food we had wasn't "bad". And maybe in New Jersey it would be considered good BBQ. But it's nowhere close to being good in this area considering the competition and to call it Texas BBQ borders on false advertising. It didn't start out good when we were told they didn't have beef ribs (only on Saturday) even though it said Fri & Sat on the menu. They also apparently don't do cole slaw any more; even though it's still on the menu. And, oh yeah, in spite of what the menu says, they were out of one of the two choices for sausage. They were also out of cheese grits so our choices of sides were mac & cheese, beans or potato salad. I usually try a three meat plate at a new place to sample as many things as possible. But the choices were so limited here I had the two meat plate with pork ribs and sliced brisket. And for my sides I got the mac & cheese and the beans. The meat wasn't bad but there wasn't much flavor to it. It didn't appear it had been smoked for very long at all. The two ribs were pretty good sized but a significant portion of the one slice of brisket was pure fat. (See the picture I included with the review.) The mac and cheese was uninspired. The beans were ok. They had two different kinds of sauce but I couldn't tell much difference between them. I usually skip the sauce because I think the meat should speak for itself. However, here I used the sauce on the brisket to give it some flavor. My buddy had the same thing and felt the same as I did. He actually felt bad for suggesting this place. But hey, if you don't try, you don't know. My advice to others though is if you see it, keep driving. There are many better choices in a reasonably close proximity that can legitimately call themselves Texas BBQ.

Got to eat a lot of BBQ at my most recent visit here (and yes, that picture is from my visit). Was pleased overall at the taste and quality of the meats here. The sides were significantly better than average (beans were surprisingly tasteful) but the reason this place doesn't get higher marks is because of the competitive nature of BBQ in our area. There is very stiff competition in this business and small details do make a difference. It's not like you can make these things from scratch so unless you have tons of customers all the time you might be getting some slightly older or "more done" meats than some other places. It's just a challenge to be small in this field. Plenty of good food to choose from and you are likely to have a great experience and if you are a BBQ purest it still worth trying.

I will say this, growing up in Texas I've never been a fan of BBQ, but this spot just changed that lol. The food was simply amazing. After the first bite, I knew that this was my new go to spot. Everything was cooked very well. I got a brisket sandwich and a 2 meat plate that came with beef and turkey meat. Reasonably priced and it didn't take long to get my food.

You get there to find out they are out of the meats you wanted. Out of bread. Select sides. Why bother. Get home and find out you got the leftover meat.

Nice small BBQ joint with about 8 small tables inside, counter with add’l 8 seats and room to eat outside. We had the Brisket and sausage. The brisket was very good. Not too much smoke and it seriously will melt in your mouth. Smoked cheddar sausage was also very good. Portions seem to be on the large size. They also serve domestic and a few craft beer brands. I like a place where you’ll find the owner working the counter. Worth checking out.

I'm not sure it's ok to judge a BBQ joint at breakfast, but I'm going to anyway. The Brisket and beef bacon biscuit was excellent as was the sausage and grits taco. The customer service was also great. This place is A+.
