I have to say this place was great…very clean, fantastic service and the food was very good. Some people complain about the price, but they must not get out much….i will definitely be going back!

I had already been warned off this place, but my curiosity got the better of me. The people were really nice but things didn't seem very clean (tiny bugs in my menu between the page and the plastic cover) and my food was pretty bad. Baked chicken was still pink in a lot of places. The gravy was clear/yellowish and very thin. Mashed potatoes and dressing somehow didn't have any texture to them. Cornbread was good and came with a little dab of cranberry sauce. The food came out insanely fast, which could be good or bad. Waitress never came back after dropping my food, but I eventually figured out you pay up front. Probably not gonna try it again.

Breakfast experience that can't be beat. From the relaxed atmosphere to the service and the food.the second you set foot In the door it feels like home... Revised review. They said their cc machine was down and to use ATM to get cash at a charge of $3.50. I mentioned it at the counter where the cc machine was now working. I made a comment and was told pretty much sorry but not sorry. I said no worries I will just take it out of the tip, never intending to do so, the response was poor girl what about the poor customer that just paid$3.50

Really like all the employees. Jennifer, especially, who today took the time to call me and let me know that they now have strawberries! I had called yesterday (didn't leave my name) to place an order to go if they did, indeed, have strawberries. They did not. I received a call from Jennifer today telling me they did have them today and I placed my favorite order. She could apparently tell I was disappointed, found my number, and called me. Talk about customer service! Thank you Jennifer!

We have been in Fort Worth for many years but never tried the Dixie house. We were up early so thought we would give it a try based on reviews and location. We were greatly disappointed. It seems that none of the dishes are made in house but are packaged or premade: gravy, biscuit, scrambled eggs, pancakes. The prices are crazy expensive for the “Ben R Keith” products: $38 for 2 persons for basic breakfast dishes pancakes and a breakfast bowl. Service was good but on a Sunday morning, we were the only 2 in the restaurant. For us, way overpriced for the quality food we had. We won’t return as the prices were not worth of the quality. Local chains are less expensive and closer to homemade. It was a real disappointment.
