... so...yep. Donut shop it was, indeed.
I woke up feeling like I was in the marketplace for some donuts. Turns out I was correct. I was smack dab in the middle of the market for donuts. So I went a-shopping and found KCDonuts, who was doing commerce in the field of donut distribution. Thus, we became natural business partners. To follow on the good faith deal we just struck. I treated myself to chocolate donut holes, and chocolate milk, and sausage rolls. I got high on my own supply.“

“The absolute best donuts in town! Every donut is made fresh to order, and the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy. There are so many fun options — we tried the Boston cream pie, Samoa, sprinkles and chocolate. All of them delicious in their own way. I have a peanut allergy and they don’t have any nut donuts (only some ingredients that may contain peanuts). They were so kind and intentional about answering any questions with my allergy. We will be coming back often to try new flavors and find our favorites!“

“In the early 2000’s used to go every day on the walk to school and it was excellent. Recently went back to Lims for the first time in at-least 10 years. I couldn’t have been happier food and family atmosphere were still excellent although some new faces. Highly recommended as a customer for 30ish years“

I had a hankering for a peanut donut, a kind of donuts I grew up eating back in Buffalo, NY. All they really are is plain old fashioned dipped in glaze and smothered in crushed peanuts. So I came here to get some plain old fashioned. Also got an apple fritter and a red velvet for my husband and son. Those got A++++ reviews. The plain old fashioned were PERFECT. Everyone loved the doctored peanut donuts I turned them into. Think we just found our go-to donut place!“

“I live in Hawaii and came to Fort Worth on vacation. We used to have a donut shop in Hawaii that served the best donuts in the state…..an old mom-n-pop bakery. “Such a sweet little donut shop! Person who helped us was so kind and friendly, had to get half a dozen donuts because she was so nice. They had really cute Halloween donuts too! Filled long John was awesome, you can choose your filling between raspberry and Bavarian crème.

Coffee was self serve from a coffee pot, but surprisingly delicious. Nice and cheap too.

The donuts themselves were fried perfectly, light and fluffy, with a great flavor. Not the type of place you would stop in and hang out for a long time, but perfect for a morning coffee run. Make sure you try some of the savory pastries too!

“I always order jalapeño sausage and cheese kolaches. Usually the small ones have pieces of jalapeño between the dough and sausage. Typically the large ones have the jalapeño just in the sausage. I much prefer the pieces of jalapeño. This place didn’t have small jalapeño so I ordered a large. Much to my delight there was jalapeño in the sausage AND pieces in the dough! Delightful. And the pastry was excellent too. Top it off with the fattest fluffiest blueberry cake donut ever and it was all great!“

“The donuts were great. I showed up at 5:30 am, in the dark. It was hard to tell the shop was there. The large sign that names names the shop was not lit up. There is some kind of coating on the glass doors that makes it near impossible to see inside. If I did not have Google Maps on and leading me there, I would have drivin right past its doors with knowing it’s there.

Great food. Open at 5am. I hope the owner fixes the signage. He could draw a lot more traffic to his door with a lighted sign of some kind near the road. I hope he does and this place is here for years to come.“
