Dos Juanitos Mexican Food

Everything felt and looked like a great mexican restaurant. But unfortunately once I saw my food I was completely disappointed. I still gave it a shot nonetheless but was even more disappointed. The meat felt like it was a pork rinds even though I ordered carne asada. The meat looked like it had been re heated once too many times. And to top it all off it was extremely expensive.

Food was incredibly salty. The nacho supreme plate had plenty salty meat and hardly other toppings. The asada torta was salty as well and overly spicy ..for a torta as is.

So good! I’m visiting Fort Worth for about a month. I’m a week and a half in and I’ve eaten at this place three times already. Best vegetarian burrito! Reasonable price. Huge burrito! The staff are incredibly nice. They also have a drive thru which is pretty quick and a neat patio to sit and eat. Go now.

Stopped by Dos Juan’s today and the overall vibe of the place is actually great. The staff was really polite, friendly, and welcoming — no complaints there. The music and atmosphere were solid too, so I definitely appreciated that part.

But the food itself just didn’t hit the way I hoped.

I ordered a ham torta. The bread was bomb — soft, fresh, perfect. But the inside felt empty. The ham was shredded so fine it barely felt like there was any meat at all. First bite tasted mostly like onion, and there was barely any lettuce. The guac was there, but only enough to say it existed.

Then I tried the carne asada burrito. It came without pico as requested, but it tasted extremely salty — like way too salty. The texture also didn’t remind me of carne asada at all; it felt more like ground beef. Guac was almost invisible here too.

I really wanted to enjoy the food because the service and vibe were on point, but the flavors and portions didn’t deliver this time. The place has potential, especially with how good the bread and service are — hopefully they can improve the seasoning and meat portions going forward.

1st time here, went based off a Tic tok, asked for the mixed enchilada dinner and a hot cheeto burrito, they charged me $24 when I looked in the bag there was only 2 enchiladas not a dinner, I told the lady she must have over charged me. The mixed enchiladas by themselves is $7.50 the burrito was 11 so 18 plus taxes, how is that $24.00? Then I asked for a receipt she said they didn't have an itemized receipt. The enchiladas was full with grease 🤦🏽‍♀️

Im officially a regular here cause I just love the breakfast tacos here. It's hard to find good breakfast tacos these days. And also the specialty drinks here are top tier!

I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Burrito. Very disappointed. The Burrito was 95% potatoes. The other 5% tortilla, egg, & cheese. There may have been one egg in it if I was lucky & hardly any bacon. The burrito itself was good seize. First time here & will not return.
