Closed permanently as of March 2023. Sad to see it go. Closest *good* German restaurant is now in Granbury.

I brought my girlfriend here several times for her birthday. It's the best German restaurant we have ever been to. The blaukraut is delicious! The wienerschnitzelis delicious! The brotchen und buter are delicious! We are patiently waiting for grand re-opening!!We're praying that everything falls in place for you!!!!

Honestly, the food was better a decade ago. Then, apparently it was sold to someone new or new management took over, because the food quality dropped and they began offering very odd selections...like spaghetti. But even so the German food was mediocre. Little Germany is a much better place with superior food and a nice atmosphere. Edelweiss was a lot of fun but the only thing it had going for it in the end was the atmosphere. Everything else had declined.

The memories will be with me forever. Had my rehearsal dinner here in 2020 and danced to Helga’s wonderful music. Thank you for everything.

End of an era. Kudos!! Kenny performed a phenomenal job of maintaining the best German restaurant in DFW ( and Kenny did the same thing for the Italian Inn). In both situations, the landlord price increases forced closure. We all can’t wait to see where Kenny lands next. Great

Charming and whimsical restaurant with top-notch customer service. The food was delicious, especially the warm potato salad and bratwurst. The staff even delivered our to-go food to the concert venue next door! Highly recommend.

Two very large parties on a Sunday night were in front of us. They were obviously understaffed. Still service was ok. Food came out hot and tasty. I got the saurbratten. It needed a few more days in the marinade. It wasn't bad at all, just not as favorable as I hoped. The red cabbage was excellent.

Next time, I'm doing the combo plate. That was my first choice until she said they had saurbratten. BTW, one of our party had the schnitzel and it was quite tasty and tender.

We had a lovely Sunday supper here. The pretzel was hot and fresh, and everything on our plate was delicious. I was not drinking when I came here, but next time I will have to get one of their beers.

The chicken schnitzel is tender and crispy and the mushroom gravy on the jagerschnitzel is rich and delicious.
