A group of friends and I visited last Sunday for brunch and to have a few cocktails. When we arrived around 1 the restaurant had a few people in there. It's noted to seat your self which we did. We waited for about 15-20 minutes before the bartender came from around the bar since she noticed we never were greeted/helped. She took both food and drink orders and we were delivered both the food and drinks back in about 10 minutes. The food was just okay nothing to rave over (a couple friends went to eat someplace else after because they were not impressed.) and the cocktails were "watered down" (this was coming from the 5 other people I was with). We really wanted this place to be good because a few of us had visited the San Diego location and it is consistently good.

If I could leave a zero I WOULD!!! Went on a Thursday / Friday 2/16/24 A parrot nose girl at the bar was hella rude!!! Don't give an attitude when I can give a bigger one"hun" just tasteless all around. We ended up at "Whiskey Garden" much better!!! El Chignon DO BETTER/ HIRE BETTER !!!

I love this place because they make the best paletta shots! THE VIBE: very colorful, lowkey rockstar vibes, pink heavy. Their bottle service sections come at such an affordable price you can party with your friends on a budget but still have a good time. Some of the menu prices are listed towards the end. They have different prices ranging in different days. - If you don't drink and just wanna enjoy some good bar food, El Chingon has so many different options at such a CHEAP price! You can't go wrong with loaded fries and I recommend trying them and the super sandia drink! I don't even like beer but the fresh water melon bowl and chamoy really took it to the next level. - Jackie recommended the carnita tacos to me but only got one but I wish I got them all carnita bc the meat was super juicy and delicious. Maybe skip out on the grilled chicken options! - Whether you come here at night or come enjoy a fun afternoon with friends, definitely come to 7th street and don't forget to stop by El Chingon.

Very superficial and poor management, based on a very hostile environment, staff is really rude and disrespectful, they way they structured the place is so unorganized and creates a lot of tension on all the customers, people fighting each other's everywhere, because the staff drives people mad about the layout, you get a table and a bottle service in the back room and when you go to the restroom, they make you do a line for like 10 minutes everytime, when you already have a table and a bottle service inside. A big never come back at all.

Worst service ever. Staff was so rude to us and racist I cannot believe the service we got. Did not want us to have a good time and they kept telling us to be quiet during the cowboys game. Will never go back there again. So uptight.
Soooooo WEIRDDDDD. I was in the restroom and a man came into the restroom.. opened up these two ladies restroom door and literally kicked them out of the restroom???????? Started yelling at them to leave their drink and shit. I don't even know what these girls did. But COULD IT NOT HAVE WAITED UNTIL THEY WERE OUT OF THE RESTROOM. He was sayin that girls couldn't go to the restroom together. Straight up inappropriate. We left immediately. Won't ever be back. Definitely telling every woman I know what I witness. So freaking weird. Lol. I saw reviews from a different night already posted. A whole different situation. And I'm glad. If management can just enter a restroom stall like how I witnessed tonight, every woman deserves to know do not go there!!

The beverages are fantastic. It's undoubtedly a louder atmosphere, and depending on the day of the week and after a certain hour, it can quickly fill up. If you prefer listening to music that is primarily in Spanish, it's still fun!
