The general manager, Jose Vasquez, is absolutely horrible.

I placed an order through the drive thru. They gave me the wrong order. I filed a complaint with the information on my receipt. The GM contacted me via my personal email, which he obtained from my complaint that included the receipt info. He offered to remake the meal if I came by the store.

I attempted to contact Jose several times via phone call and email to ensure that the same person who made it the first time wouldn't be there before I went (safety concern) or to see when he would be present. They never answered the phone, and he ignored every email.

I finally go to the store directly. He asked for proof of email. My husband showed him the email he sent to me, including the several times I emailed him back. He then stated there was nothing he could do without a receipt. UNBELIEVABLE!

The only reason he had my info was from the complaint I filed with the receipt information. All he had to do was remake a tostada salad, and that would be it, but he REFUSED.

I am livid. I should have just requested a refund and been done with it.

I came here on Sunday and met the loveliest girl named manuela working drive thru. She greeted me and asked me about my career (I was wearing my hospital scrubs) and I had a genuine, real conversation with her. Ive never felt so welcomed at ANY fast food place- great Job el pollo loco!
