Great Restaurant visiting The Stockyards. I ordered breakfast tacos and pan dulce and it did not disappoint!!
This place is a mixed bag. The baked goods are great. The chips and salsa, trash. Honestly wish I had never had them. The service was meh. Some of the staff are so sweet others weeeeellll, they look like they have had better days and act like it too. Take a little pride in how you appear. The setting was nice.
One star is too much, we took my mom to celebrate her birthday it all started good but they took almost an hr to get the food for our table.
When it finally arrived my husband’s plate was wrong we asked for the beef and shrimp fajita plate specifically said no onions or chicken, my mom asked for double rice and enchiladas- it was wrong too. My husband didn’t want to return the plate because the wait time had been too long but the waiter insisted since he heard me complaining lol they took it back removed the chicken and literally there was 3 shrimp and like 10 mini pieces of meat for $$28.39 and the salad had picadillo with onlions I had to remove them from the plate right before I took the picture My sister ordered caldo the res and she couldn’t eat the meat it was too rubbery my kids asked for milanesa and their meet was bad as well total we paid $180 and nobody even ate. So think twice before choosing this place.
Went for brunch and ordered chilaquiles, a favorite of mine, they came with refried beans and these incredible potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly and very tasty. I will definitely be coming back to try more menu items 😊
Food was excellent. Met my mother there for early lunch. She had quesadilla and I had Migas. We both loved our food and had food leftover. We also ordered a dozen tamales upon leaving for whenever we feel like it. Forgot to get a picture of our plated food. Cost is about avg. $10-20 or so(most about$15). If you enjoy margaritas, must have one here!
Absolutely love them food here. Doesn't matter if its breakfast or lunch/dinner, the food is always delicious.

This place is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Do yourself a favor; skip Joe T’s tourist trap and come here. You won’t regret it.

Best Pan Dulce in town! Wow! The ladies at the bakery are so friendly and fast! There was a line but it moved fast.. They know what they're doing.
BB UT, our waitress at the restaurant..... Not friendly, never brought us refills and didn't smile at all! Not even once.. Weird.
Food is ok, nothing extraordinary.
We'll go back for bread though.

They have Menudo all week, as opposed to other Mexican restaurants. It was delicious, although the pieces of tripe were few and far between. Very spicy though .... Be forewarned
Parking: They provide carry out container for leftovers
Kid-friendliness: Definitely
Wheelchair accessibility: They have enough room between tables to accommodate wheel chairs
Recommended dishes: Chips and Salsa, Menudo Soup, Carnitas

The food took about 45 minutes to get to us after we ordered…if it tasted absolutely mind blowing, maybe I wouldn’t mind. Tasted just about average. The portions were very large.

First time going here after hearing the hype for a while. Was quite disappointed.
Had the Papas con Huevos, a la Mexicana (adds tomato onions and jalapeños for $1.99). That may sound like a bit much for a little flavor, but without it the food had zero taste at all. Even with the a la Mexicana, it was very bland, and I had to dump half a bowl of salsa on it to make it edible.
My partner had the Chorizo con Papas con Huevos, which you'd think would be better, but it was also very bland.
Service wasn't very good either. My coffee cup had something in it, which I only found when it was empty 🤢. Then I waiting another 5 or 10 minutes before someone came around to get a fresh cup. We didn't get the tortillas that should have come with our food, nor the sauce on the side we had asked for. When the food runner came out with food, he'd say "who had the potatoes?" which is moronic considering everything comes with potatoes, so we had to play musical plates and figure out who had ordered which one.
The only positive is there's a lot of leftovers, which is basically scrambled eggs and potatoes, so we can add our own ingredients and make a decent meal from our ourselves.
Update: we found a nickel-sized chunk of egg shell in the leftovers

Disorganized, especially for someone visiting for the first time. They have a completely useless plastic partition at the first register off one of the entrances, making it difficult to communicate and order.
The machaca burrito was 30% filled and mostly a thick flour tortilla for almost $15. I didn't get a receipt, and was not told how long for my takeout or where to pick it up. Some of the furniture looks like it has never been cleaned. Overall, unimpressive.
