Someone in DFW from Philly recommended this place to me as "the closest thing you can get to an authentic Philly cheese steak in DFW". Was in the area around lunch and gave it a try, had the #8. Was fricken awesome, not greasy or heavy at all. My only regret is ordering a 6", wish I'd ordered the 10". 6" was plenty of food for lunch, but finished it wishing there was more. Will definitely be back, 100% recommend to anyone.

Best cheesesteak I had in my life. Very hot and fresh. Huge portions and it won't make you broke either. Fries were perfectly seasoned. Meat was juicy and tender. The bread was soft and perfect. Nice variety of sauces too. Eat here if you want a good philly cheesesteak.

We still didn't get the refund of the jalapeno poppers we ordered and paid but never gotten because they run out of it? and the guy who prepared our food didn't put gloves on a hand that he used to grab the lettuce for our subs?Sorry my bad..it wasn't jalapeno poppers but it was mozzarella sticks.

Look no further! Fred's makes some down right amazing Philly cheese steaks!! All the times I've been in to try a new cheese steak I haven't been disappointed. Fries are always crispy and everything is made fresh. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out.

My first time... staff was very nice and friendly. Menu selection was endless. Sandwiches were fully customizable also. The best part was the amazing flavor.... oh man the sandwich was delicious. Cherry on top... they have 3 different hot sauces to choose from. Fantastic experience in my opinion!!!

Having grown up in the Philly area it would be awesome to have at least a reasonably close cheese steak. They might be awesome and although I have driven 2 different times from Azle to try them, website saying they are open I got there to find a hand scribbled sign they will be back at a certain time. Therefore I have never had one! Would be nice if the website instead of showing open unti 9pm it would show closing.
