Horrible place! Do not waste your time here. Also they don't even pay their vendors! All around awful people!
Took my bf here for his birthday because the ambiance looked super nice however was super disappointed with the food. I received a chicken parm that couldn’t even be cut with a knife - extremely hard and burnt - the server did offer to give me a new order but was turned off so I ordered a lasagna which was mediocre - ordered cheesecake it came back with a piece of plastic in it - it was embarrassing - the server was very nice and the brussel sprouts were delicious but left very disappointed - the ambiance is not enough to bring me back.
Extremely frustrated after making reservations for our anniversary at this location. We drive 2 hours from Oklahoma and arrive to closed signs on all of the doors and no lights on. I don't understand why they would allow reservations. :(
Made reservations for a bachelorette party at the Fort Worth location a month in advance, received a confirmation text and the restaurant is closed for renovations. Received NOTHING about this. Horrible service for allowing us to make a reservation and still receiving a confirmation text. Website says nothing, instagram say nothing about renovations. Will not recommend this restaurant. This was April 4, 2025.
Terrible customer service and bad experience. Would not return here after my experience. Please go to other places that can offer better.
After coming to this place with high expectations they left me disappointed. The food is overpriced for what you get. I had the worst customer service that it ruined my entire night. I would never come back here.
My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!
we had a reservation for 8. the service was subpar, slow and overpriced . would not recommend.
Ya’ll did my gf private party bogus. You def owe that family a refund!
I went to eat with my children for my birthday and the waiter Forrest was awesome. He was funny and made my night. I couldn’t have asked for a better waiter. This was by far the absolutely best night we have had this whole time in Texas. I got the crab cakes and they were wonderful. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks Forrest for making my birthday extra special. Christine

Fantastic place to go, especially with family! Very beautiful restaurant and food is delicious and aesthetically put together. Best service i’ve ever experienced! Forrest was our waiter and he was so funny and caring, definitely the best waiter out there!! Had great accommodations for vegetarians too! 10/10 would recommend
I really didn’t want to have to do this, but I gave Goat & Vine Restaurant + Winery a month to correct this situation, and sadly they have not. I would not want anyone to get taken advantage of and ripped off like we did, so here it goes! My mom and I booked a party here for the dinner after my dad’s memorial service. It was a very long, emotional week and easily the hardest days of my life so far. When we booked the package for 30 people, they told us the server would keep an eye on the trays and refill them when they were low. After all, isn’t that the whole point of hiring a “professional” establishment…to not have to worry about anything?! We had: 1 bowl of bread, 1 bowl of lettuce (can’t even qualify as a salad bc there was nothing else in it), 1 tray of chicken, 1 tray of *undercooked* gnocci, 1 tray of broccoli and 1 tray of potatoes. This was supposed to be unlimited refills for 2 hours. THEY NEVER REFILLED THE TRAYS. 🤯 (they refilled the undercooked gnocchi, please see the photo, and some potatoes at the VERY end when a guest finally said something to our server, Megan. But mostly everyone was gone at this point bc it was over.) The server barely served nor refilled any soft drinks which were also supposed to be included. When we talked to our guests afterwards, they all said it took forever to get any drinks and went up for more food, but there was none left. Beyond disappointing. My mom and I had NO clue this happened bc we were busy talking to our friends and family and didn’t notice everyone going up for more food and leaving empty handed. None of our guests said anything to us at the time bc they thought that was all we paid for! How embarrassing. I would never have expected to have to micromanage an event that we paid mandatory gratuity for…since that is their job and not ours. (And fyi I worked in the service industry for at least 15 years as a server and bartender. I would never expect the party to tell me to do my job.) Chocolate covered strawberries were supposed to be included for 30 people, there were maybe 15. We paid EXTRA for chocolate cake, but they were out, so they took it upon themselves to substitute their chocolate mint cake and it was horrible. No one ate it…and they still charged us even though it’s not even what we ordered. At the end when I realized nothing was ever refilled, Megan ran off to get the manager, Angela. Angela told me, “since you ordered for 30 people, we gave 40 pieces of chicken. If you wanted more, you would’ve had to pay for more.” (I did not see the chicken, but guests said the pieces were small.) Not that they refilled anything else anyway! At this point, I’m so confused and exhausted, I thought maybe I misunderstood the initial agreement. The next day when I realized I was correct and it was supposed to be unlimited for 2 hours, I spoke with Angela again and she said, “ Megan said everyone was done eating…” EXCUSE ME…WHAT?!?! How did the server that was barely around and couldnt even keep up with drinks, decide that a party of 30 people is done after 4 trays?!?!!! Her job was to refill when empty, not to decide everyone was done when they weren’t. And why not ask the people paying for the party if everyone is done?! Also, interesting how Angela changed her story. 🤔 To sum this up, they completely dropped the ball and did not deliver their end of the contract. WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR… NOT EVEN CLOSE. They KNOW IT and they REFUSE to refund for what we did not receive. The restaurant was not busy at this time. Someone else should have been helping if it was too much for one person to handle. They were incompetent and we suffered the consequences of it. We paid $2,500 for not even $1,000 worth of food/drinks if we had just paid for trays. They have offered gift cards and a free dinner, but that will not nearly amount to what we completely overpaid. Dealing with them unsuccessfully for a month when we have enough to take care of is an additional slap in the face from them after they completely failed this important day for us. Do yourselves

This is our second visit to Goat and Vine and it never disappoints! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible…and if you get a chance, request Darryl!!! He made virgin drinks for our girls, recommended an excellent bottle of Pinot for us, and came through with a great digestif, in the Mid Summer Night’s Dream. Don’t sleep on this place or their amazing staff!
This place is awesome!!! We love the decor and vibe of the atmosphere. Daryll took great care of us, we are a bit bossy and he handled it very well. Drinks were never empty and he was very attentive. 5 out of 5 would recommend!!
