Be prepared to wait - but it’s definitely worth it. We got there just after 9 am on a Friday and we got our food right at noon, so we spent an hour in line after they technically opened. We ordered basically one of everything off the menu and that was the way to do it. Everything was phenomenal! Truly cannot recommend their ribs enough. They were some of the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. And their sides are great too! I loved the beans and their coleslaw.

Some of the best brisket I've had at a restaurant. The best thing was there cheesy jalapeño grits. Will totally be going back. Get there early and get in line. We waited an hour and a half and got there a few minutes after they opened.

Finally made it in time for the beef ribs!!! I'm from Florida and when I'm in town visiting I always make sure to stop into Goldees. Not only is the barbecue the best in the world but so are the people working there and the owners. You can see how hard they work and the passion they have about their food and their service. They're always so friendly and the food never disapoints. You guys are amazing!!!

Tried going here 3 times but they always sold out after waiting in the line for hours. Finally made it in last Saturday. When chatting with the crew how we've tried to eat there 3 times and placing my order of half pounds of each meat. They said "we are gonna hook you up" and then added more meat. That nice gesture must not have been relayed to the cashier because we were charged full price for our "hook up" of more food I Didn't ask for. It was an added $60 dollars. Oh and they can't print receipts so I don't have one just my credit card statement. I wish I would of caught the mistake but my partner paid and just assumed it was right since their prices are on the higher end, and we were distracted that we finally get to try it.After reading different reviews now this "hook up " thing has happened before . So please be sure they relate it to the cashier so you aren't stuck paying double for food you didn't order especially if you didn't budget for it.Food ReviewWe enjoyed the brisket it was great in my top 3 and is the only meat worth the wait in our opinion. It was tender juicy, flavorful, and peppery. The ribs taste like vinegar, smoked perfectly, just not a flavor we enjoyed, and will not order again and I love ribs. The jalepeno sausage taste good but very greasy and the casing real tough, but still would eat again. The turkey was average, a bit over salty.Jalapeño grits had no jalapeños.Potato salad was good, very tangy but I like that.Beans are actually like a chili, good but would not of ordered chili.BBQ sauce is very vinegary and sweet, kind of like honey mustard mixed with basic bbq sauce. We did not eat it with the meal but I'm using is on some chicken I'm preparing.Banana pudding had no banana nor banana flavor, it was vanilla pudding, it was very good just don't expect banana. The pickles are horrible even looked bad with a white film on them and so soggy.I won't wait 3 hours for it again, but everyone should try the brisket. And watch your charges.

BBQ was an amazing, delicious taste, very well seasoned, and no bbq sauce needed but the bbq sauce is very good also. Brisket, house sausage, turkey, pork ribs, and beef ribs were all amazing! For dessert, the bread pudding was awesome!

This was a great place to visit…. Once in a lifetime. If you are expecting a long line and wait then you got it! If you are expecting great tasting food then you got it! We arrived at 9:30 am on a Saturday and thought we would wait about an hour or two in line as there were over 50 people ahead of us. We did not see the front door until 2 pm. They provide water in a large cooler outside but by the time we were needing water the cooler was empty. Soda was free and people were going inside just to grab a soda from the drink fridge inside. The reason the line takes forever to get through is that there is only one guy cutting the meat and one guy dishing up sides. They could streamline this a little better - and should do so considering how long the wait is and the volume of customers they get. The food was delicious but I was starving by the time I ate that my opinion could be a little tainted lolWe tried the sausage, brisket and pulled pork, all smoked very well. For side we got the beans, which had brisket chunks in it that added a delicious smoky flavor, the potato salad was just ok, but the show stopper for me was the banana pudding! I would go back just for this! In my eyes banana pudding is nothing really special and not on my top ten favorites, but they have added something to it that makes it astoundingly tasty. Trying to guess the spice that really makes it great and want to say nutmeg but I’m not sure.

This place is an 11/10. This is the best barbecue in the DFW area. Ive had terry blacks and this is better. The brisket can be cut with a plastic fork and is really juicy. Can be a bit pricey but in every sense definItely worth it. The pork belly is good but ive never had better ribs in my life definitely get those before the pork belly. I didnt try any turkey but i wish i had. Flew in from phoenix and drove 30 miles from lewisville and is one hundred percent worth every mile. This isnt just BBQ this is life changing BBQ.

First ever Texas barbecue. Enjoyed the experience, amazing brisket, didn't know meat could be that soft. Arrived at 11 30 on a Saturday, got food around 1. They hadn't run out of anything, but it was close.

I got there late on a Sunday, they said they were sold out of most everything but sausage and chopped brisket. They offered me sausage on the house, which I thought was nice, then they charged me full price for it.Both sausages I got were outstanding especially the hot linkPickles and bread were goodI felt the chopped brisket was not very smokey and overly sweet.Atmosphere was less nice than I expectedI've been watching these guys on YouTube for months, so maybe it was built up too much in my mind. I'm not disappointed that I went but I wouldn't return.

A picture will tell 1000 words, I waited 2 hours in line and will gladly do it again! The BBQ was by far the best food I’ve ever had, and will be my last meal the sides were on point as well.

Yummmm great food…. Yeah, waited in line a little over an hour but they have plenty of chairs if you want to sit and I wait in line all the time for concerts—I didn’t mind. The food was really tasty. The pork belly was my favorite with the peach glaze. Their beans are like ranch beans on wonderful steroids! They were out of dessert by the time we got to the front which is a little sad but that’s OK. We’ll try again next time. Seems like great people that do it and the food was fantastic. Give it a try.
