Greenwood's German Restaurant and Bakery

We’ve been meaning to explore this place for months. Finally got there tonight. The food was FANTASTIC, the service excellent. Sadly, we were told that they will only be in business for one more week. Also, they are now BYOB. So, if , like us, you’ve been meaning to try this place, you’d better go ahead. We are so sad to hear they are closing.

Food was good however I did not know that the salad was extra when I thought it was included initially. So it ended up costing more. My friend thought the food was excellent also.

Friendly staff and delicious food!

My son and I have been meaning to stop there for the last few years and never did until today. We read on their website that they are closing on Jan 11 to retire and that is unfortunate as this is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious authentic food, polite service and wonderful atmosphere. Very well organised and accessible spot. They provide big meals and for reasonable prices. I loved the meals very much and the staff members were very affable and explanatory. Recommended.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we found this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We enjoyed a beautiful time there with delicious dishes and a nice team and an impressive cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will no doubt come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

Not real German food. Salad was good. Everything else not so much

This is an amazing authentic German restaurant that has not been watered down by being located in Texas. My split pea soup reminded me of my youth when my mom would make it for me. Tuesday was Schnitzel nite and did not disappoint. The homemade bread is to die for! The wait staff were very attentive and helped us decide what to eat.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are tasty and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we have a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.
