What a wonderful experience! First off, we arrived a few minutes after they closed and yet the lovely lady behind the counter offered to let us still get a scoop of ice cream. The lady behind the counter was exceptionally sweet and answered all our questions about the different flavors. We got our scoops of ice cream and we were immediately impressed with the taste and texture. So delightfully good! It really made our night! Thank you so much for giving us this experience! Cannot wait to come back again.... during business hours!

If you like basic ice cream, this is the place for you. It makes me think of generic brand ice cream from the store. Nothing special but for people who like the basics, sure. Because of COVID business was done through one door, which is fine but I only had the poorly written menu board to go off of and when I asked questions about the flavors the employee was very vague. I personally expect more from a business in this up-and-coming area. For exceptional ice cream in the area try Melt.

So basically the ice cream cones are delicious (I would eat these by themselves!) I love the banana pudding but it is almost ALWAYS sold out when I go, which is super disappointing. I don't mind though, because usually i will venture out and try something new. Most of the flavors are pretty good or average, but aside from my above named favorite I really like the lemon cookie flavor. I think the main reason for my 2 star rating is the customer service. I read somewhere below in an earlier review where the owner had mentioned that customer service is something that they pride themselves on, but I really have not seen that outstanding customer service in action. I have never been greeted warmly, offered a sample, been met with a smile, or left with a "thank you." I like to think I am pretty friendly, and I ALWAYS tip (regardless of the quality of service.) I don't believe in treating others badly, so always try and interact with others the way I would like to be interacted with. It just never happens at Gypsy Scoops. The same woman has been behind the counter every time I go in, and she just makes the experience so unpleasant. It's a shame because I really do like the two aforementioned flavors, but it's just such a tense environment. Just to add, after reading all of the reviews I am not the firsts to be made to feel uncomfortable/unwelcome by the individual working behind the counter. Super unfortunate, but hopefully it is something that can be addressed. A smile and genuine friendliness goes a long way - just a tip

First time at this location. Of course the ice cream is delicious. There was a nice selection available. The decor is cute and I like how you can purchase bottled sodas and candy. The location is quite narrow. 2 tables to sit at, which isn't unusual for an ice cream shop. What I didn't particularly like was that my party was at a table and there was another party next to us, 2 employees and they decided to invite in a party of probably 10. No social distancing or capacity limit. We had to literally squeeze to get out of the door. The crazy part is that there is a service window that you can order from outside. So I'm not sure why the employees encouraged such a large party to come in to a small area despite restrictions.

Súper creamy ice cream! Love the flavors they come up with! Kind of sad they left Race Street since I lived 3 minutes from there. I always love their Cookie Monster flavor! Waffles and floats are great!

Gypsy Scoops is DELICIOUS! We had the truck come to our neighborhood and it was absolutely awesome. Everyone loved it and couldn’t stop commenting on how delicious the ice cream was. Thank you for coming out to see us!!

The service was terrible, the worker was rude and seemed completely out of touch with reality. Our order was all but thrown at us which resulted in my wife wearing her ice cream. We will not be going back again

Really yummy ice cream with great flavors! I love coming here for an occasional sweet treat. The service however is extremely poor. We've been here a handful of times and the workers each time have been very rude. Just went there today with some friends and felt extremely rushed. The lady was unenthusiastic and my friends and I felt like we were a burden for even coming in. I recommend this place but don't expect to feel welcomed.

It was a beautiful day yesterday in Fort Worth, my husband wanted ice cream as we were driving around. I remembered that you all had opened a place on Main St. We stop, open the door and it was felt quiet, The vibe was just not there....the girl over the counter did not even say HI or anything. I understand that she was with another couple but they were looking at the flavors, she could of said something......she never smiled, never acknowledged that we were there until we ask for the restroom and boy did she seem annoyed about that. This place is dead....needs some life, hire someone with a good personality....something!! Ice cream was good thou......
