Food was delicious! The creamy chicken shawarma was awesome and so was the lamb shank.

Cook forgot part of my order so I had to wait longer than anticipated. They are training new people so hopefully this kind of thing gets better.

Authentic, Flavorful, and Friendly!
Gyro & Kabob Grill in Fort Worth is an absolute hidden gem! The food is packed with authentic Mediterranean flavors — the lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. Their chicken kabob plate was cooked to perfection, with fluffy rice, fresh salad, and delicious garlic sauce on the side.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the restaurant is clean and cozy.

Whether you're craving a quick bite or a satisfying dinner, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food!

It’s the second time it happens. I used to come here always years ago when I used to live close by. Decided to drove 30 minutes, just to wait 34 minutes for the second time? requested the pita bread instead because of my choice and it wasn’t right either. Used to be so good and the lady there touching food and grabbing cash/ cards, for other customers at the same time says a lot. I hope she didn’t touched my food. But as much as I was craving it, doesn’t seem that I’ll be back sooner or again. I’m more annoyed that I drove 30 min, wait 34 min, not even getting my order right, but the unpleasant experience.

I've left a review for here before (I think) and it was amazing. I've been ordering from here for years. Since I moved here. I absolutely loved it. I've never had anything bad from here until today. I spent over 40 bucks for 3 appetizers. I always LOVED my favourite things from here and even though I noticed the prices had gone up quite a bit, I still really wanted to order it because I loved this place. IT WAS AWFUL! The food doesn't taste the same AT ALL. The garlic yogurt used to be so good I could eat it straight out of the container. This time it was disgusting. (And even though it cost more, it was less food). So much raw garlic it almost burned my mouth, it tastes like I was just eating raw garlic with a little yogurt.... Also the tiny bit of flavor I could taste outside of garlic was off. The hummus isn't smooth and creamy any more and the falafel was inedible. Literally took one bite and I was done with it. And I'm not joking about the the garlic. Which I looove garlic, but it's such a disappointment because this was one of my favorite places and I'm sad knowing that I will never eat there again. The pita seems to be the same. Or at least as good. Except they cut it, which they didn't used to

I lived in Saudi as a child and one of my fond memories was getting street shawarmas with my family. Ever since then I’ve been on a hunt to find a shawarma that could bring back the nostalgia. Gyro and Kabob Grill has The Best chicken shawarma that I’ve had here in the US and that is no exaggeration. The taste is the same!! So yummy!! The only difference is the street shawarmas had bigger pickles and French fries inside…..which can always be added here. The hummus was delicious too!!

Immaculate, excellent service and delicious food. We had gyros with a side salad, hummus and pita bread and a piece of baklava. It was all delicious and served in generous portions.

Potentially the worst $50 I've spent

Took 35 minutes to make tabouli, humus, 1 gyros, and butter chicken. That totalled out to $50 which is pretty steep.

When I get the food, I thought they were messing with me. The gyro was smaller than a hot dog (cost $8). The tabouli and humus were completely tasteless. The butter chicken had so much oil I drained over a quarter cup and it was still very oily.

I have ordered and dined here for years, but tonight my meal wasn't great. I ordered the gyro plate. The gyros were so dry, they were like shoe leather. The rice had clove or some over powering spice that coated my palette. It was so gross. I used to love their rice. This rice was awful! Two hours later and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. What a disappointment. Must be under new management.
