Steak (bone-in ribeye) was a huge disappointment. Others in my party felt the same way about their steaks. I

Food was very quick, although, it was very empty. Steak was cooked perfectly, just a tad salty.

When you come to Ft Worth and the Stockyards, you come for the experience and ambiance. H3 delivers food in a fun environment. It's linked with Booger Red's Saloon and The Stockyards Hotel. The entire package gives off historic western vibes. If you're looking for the experience, you will enjoy the fire grilled steaks. Be prepared to spend a little money though as you're probably going to spend $50 - 75 per person. You're paying for the experience as much as the food.

We came for Sunday evening supper and there was a wait, but it was worth it. Porterhouse and chicken fried steak to perfection, lovely bread starter. So nice we returned for lunch the next day! Burger & tomahawk pork chop did not disappoint. Service was spot on both times, we will be returning next time we are in town!

This is my favorite Northside place to eat because, one the food is always great. Two the atmosphere is the best of all the nostalgia from the cattle drive to the rodeos.
Shouldāve went to salt grass asked for medium rare and got well done didnāt say anything because I was on an anniversary date. Cattlemenās next time! Do yourself a favor go to cattlemenās
Great Texas old school steak place, not white tablecloth, more casual with major cowboy vibes. Not a salad place. This is where you come for STEAK. The bar side has the saddle stools, we sat in the dining room where you can see the open kitchen and open flames...awesome! Waitress seemed new and forgot a couple things but was sweet.

While staying at the StockYard Hotel in Fort Worth,TX Thursday night, We dined at iconic H3 RANCH steakhouse. This restaurant is actually connected to the historical hotel and is conveniently located on the corner of Main and Exchange streets. Fort Worth stockyards is where the bulls walk down the street guided by cowboys on horseback twice daily. Followed by the Thursday night bull riding event at the Cowtown Coliseum. At H3 we were pleased with our dinner choices. My husband 9 oz filet was cooked to perfection.I had the piled high deep fried catfish that I enjoyed. Some meals were served with roasted corn in the husk on the open fire. I topped of my meal with a Mule cocktail simply delightful. For all you who want to have the dining experience in original structure you must book before January 31, 2026 at which time the H3 will close for a long time while it's renovated.
Was surprised by this restaurant. Initial impression was that it was going to be overpriced food. Menu was underwhelming. Ordered the filet and a Kentucky mule. My drink and steak both were AMAZING. Literally one of the best steaks Iāve ever had!

My party of 4 went to eat at H3, when our waiter approached our table we were informed they were out of 4 different types of steak. All 4 people ordered accordingly, only to be told 5 minutes later that they were out of eat another cut of steak.
My visit was at the time of the Fort Worth the Livestock show and rodeo was going on. Why wouldnāt a steak house order extra food knowing that you will definitely have an influx of customers at this time. This error was poor management skills.
My advice is, if you plan to dine at this establishment make sure there is absolutely nothing going on/happening at the time of your visit.

2nd time here. Food was great and service was great. Only crime is for a steak house they didn't have sweet tea... which surprised me as this is Texas. But everything was perfect.
