This establishment Now Closed, August 2024. My experience around the world, general knowledge terms across the board. It was Italian owned, with Italian Staff, clearly! Atmosphere was good not excellent! As intended by looking at it, being there. Set up didn't Hit the Mark. Waitress had to move us to another table because it was dirty not clean and then the table that we moved to was not clean. The second table as well had to be cleaned as stated and then it was left wet or damp should I say either way it should have not been that way. Now for a breakfast and/or strictly brunch establishment, back to the Italian thing, honestly one not knowing any better and I'm laughing at this but it's true, would say that it is "upscale". I'm going to tell you right now it is everything but "upscale". I would not dare think to try and categorize it as such! Lived in Germany for years been to Italy dozens of times. Way overpriced ridiculously I've had the same amount of food for half the price and it tasted a thousand times better for breakfast. Embarrassing to say for any Italian or about. Yes the waitress was Italian they were full-blown from across the pond, straight outta Italy. Glassware, coffee cups were even imported. This is North Texas We want breakfast not Italian let's try and feel miserably and turn it into cuisine breakfast in North Texas. It was not horrible, already been addressed here. This IS NOT an exaturation.

On a whim, we stopped in for breakfast this morning. We were greeted by Mosherrie who really turned out to be the highlight of the breakfast experience! My wife ordered The Works Omelet. I got Corn Beef Hash, 2 eggs over medium and Sourdough toast. It was a good breakfast and in this day and age I found the prices to be very reasonable. My wife's omelet was huge and she couldn't finish it. Im a sucker for corn beef hash and these were pretty good. Over medium eggs are an art form and the kitchen did a great job with mine. Overall a really good, reasonably priced breakfast. Now, getting back to Mosherrie our server. We instantly hit it off. She is a professional and very personable. She is a S. Philly girl and an Eagles fan, but don't hold it against her Cowboy fans!! She was wonderful. Overall this was a pleasant way to start our day.

Incredible café! Wonderful for breakfast and we can’t wait to come back for supper as well! Really nice people who own this establishment and the food is generous and very well priced! Phenomenal quality as well!
UPDATE: We went back to Happy Town for dinner... not sure what to expect, but DANG! It was SO FANTASTIC! I had perfectly seared Lamb Chops w/ charred brussell sprouts; partner had a Rib Eye that you could cut with a fork, it was so tender and marinated lightly, and the creamiest mashed potatoes. And seriously, you have to get the caesar salad and a side of the home made pesto.... dreamy good! Hope you will try it and like we did, go back again and again!

Happy Town was a huge disappointment. My girlfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant based on the positive reviews we had seen online. However, our experience was far from pleasant.
I ordered the grits, as I was craving a simple and comforting breakfast dish. To my dismay, the grits came out smothered in cheese and bacon. I specifically asked for plain grits, but it seemed like my request had been completely ignored. My girlfriend, who is pescatarian, took a bite before realizing there was bacon in the dish. She was disgusted and upset that the bacon wasn't visible before she took a bite.
The steak that I ordered was equally disappointing. It tasted like it had been cooked on a burnt grill, with a bitter and charred flavor that was off-putting. The hash browns were mediocre at best, lacking any real flavor or crispiness that you would expect from a breakfast staple.
The only redeeming factor of our meal was the orange juice, which was fresh and delicious. But one good drink couldn't make up for the subpar food and service we received.
Overall, I would not recommend Happy Town to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. Until they improve their menu and quality of food, I would suggest looking elsewhere for a better dining experience.
Adding to our disappointment at Happy Town was the fact that the staff seemed unable to contact any management when we expressed our concerns about the food. It was clear that they were capable of running the store on a day-to-day basis, but the fact that there was no accessible management to address our issues was frustrating.
Having a management team that is responsive and able to handle customer feedback is crucial in the restaurant industry. It's important for customers to feel heard and valued, especially when they are dissatisfied with their experience. The lack of communication with management only added to our overall negative impression of Happy Town.
In conclusion, I stand by my recommendation to steer clear of Happy Town until they make significant improvements to their menu, food quality, and customer service. A restaurant that can't handle customer feedback or provide a satisfactory dining experience is not worth your time or money. Look elsewhere for a meal that will leave you happy and satisfied.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. The food was bland. We returned our coffee twice after it being served cold. We ordered the gyro omelet and it had no seasoning. The waffles and pancakes was heavy in dough and hard to swallow.
When we told our waitress, we were advised both the manager and owner were out of the country and could not do anything about the food. She then stated the manager’s cousin was on his was to the restaurant to talk to us as she could not remove the coffee or omelet from our bill. The young waitress was inexperienced and kept apologizing for something that’s not her fault.
It’s baffling to understand why a business would put their staff in a position without an experienced supervisor to deal with negative experiences. We left her a tip regardless of the terrible food and did not bother waiting for the cousin to show up.

Definitely not fine dining. Probably a better breakfast or lunch place. Ordered the strawberry salad and salad was wilted and strawberries mushy. Ordered Marsala chicken and it was a creamy cheese sauce. AC was either broken or turned down. We were sweating eating our food. Very sad because 1st impressions are so important. Staff was friendly but the overall experience was a 3 rating.

Surprisingly cool interior design for a relatively benign strip shopping center restaurant.
Nice lighting and seating, great service and delightful menu options.
We had the Happy Town Chicken, which is a fusion of chicken primavera and chicken al la vodka, along with a great pesto dip with thin crispy slices of French bread, a nice and zesty Greek salad.
Check them out if you get a chance.
Update, 07/06/2024:
We stopped in for a couple salads for a late lunch / early dinner.
I had the Caesar with grilled chicken , and my wife had the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken added.
We enjoyed these fresh salads with some of the house bread and garlic pesto.
Both salads were fresh, crisp and tasty, and the pesto is really fresh and flavorful.
Great service and healthy food.

Upscale breakfast and brunch at affordable pricea. Best Skillets, Crepes and Orange Juice in town. Is American with a European vibe. Super clean and the plates are a reasonable portions. My favorrite are the breakfast skillets. They're hashbrowns are high class! This place should be crowded. Is my second visit and definitely coming back. Way better than Cracker barrel or Black Bear. Try this place! Super clean. And the orange juice is squeezed right at the moment.
Plenty of parking.

A Disappointing Experience at Happy Town Restaurant
We had high hopes for our family reunion at Happy Town Restaurant, having reserved the entire place months in advance for over 70 people. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant.
When we arrived, the dining room was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning was not turned on until they opened at 5 PM. Despite our anticipation for a memorable family gathering, it was clear from the start that the restaurant was woefully unprepared.
The waitstaff was disorganized, and the ordering process was chaotic. After waiting for two hours with no sign of our food, our family of 12 decided to cancel our order. We left the restaurant at 8:30 PM, having arrived at 6:00 PM, feeling frustrated and disappointed.
For a restaurant that requires reservations months in advance, we expected far better service and preparation. Unfortunately, Happy Town Restaurant failed to deliver on both counts.
