So this review is going to cover 3 restaurant visits (Fort Worth) over 18 months. Going back 18 months ago, my first time to dine at Heim, I was hooked and had great food. Roughly a year later, I stopped by and grabbed takeout, and unfortunately, I was not happy. The food was not great at all, and I was mad because it's not cheap. Completely honest review, first time ever eating at this joint...
The positives: amazing burnt bacon ends, amazing beans, self serve onions, pickles, and jalapeños is a plus, potato salad was decent and different. Overall good food, but certainly not the best.
The negatives: brisket (i got mixed) was extremely dry, and the ribs although good, very small for the price. Staff was excellent and very friendly
I personally think this is a decent place...

Every time I'm in the Fort Worth area, we come to get some good BBQ from Heim. Good food, cold beer and casual, laid back atmosphere. Can't ask for much more. If you're into BBQ, just go, you won't regret it!
