Great food and friendly staff. Met up with a friend after work to catch up. It is casual, order at the counter, and pick up yourself. The floor staff checked on us numerous times to see if we needed anything. There is also a walk-up bar that we did not utilize this visit.

My Son and Daighter live across the street. Went to grab a beer and BBQ they turned us away had some private party but no one was inside. We will never go back. You could have a great customer base bit if that is how you run this orginazation I don't want anything to do with you. Oh you turned a uniformed officer away too.

The meat is really good. Like exceptional. The sides...not so much. The mac and cheese was a little watery and the their take on potato salad is bland.
The mac and cheese is very good.. Chicken is good. I asked for jalapeno sausage. They gave me regular sausage. It was still good though but the collard greens... Is blend dry. No seasoning at all. I will not recommend getting a collard greens. Truth be told, only thing that was really edible was the mac and cheese and the

1 star until the funky burger comes back, there's only like 3 or 4 good things on the menu and they took off one of the fan favorites? Not to mention they got rid of wings too? Is there new incompetent management or something or why are they choosing to make worse food now? I already told all my friends and family who go here to go to Hurtados instead. Anyone reading this should know that this is the beginning of a slipperly slope to sub-par eating at a "premium" price, Travis you are a bad man for letting this place start to suck.

Fatty brisket was good level of moisture, and very tasty, the house sausage was the stand out; crisp, casing, perfect, grind texture, and just the right amount of fat. Barbecue sauce was good, a little sweet and molasses, heavy for my taste, but unique and enjoyable on the brisket. Very pretty patio overlooking the river with lots of trees; definitely worth a visit!Kid-friendliness: Big open patio with looks like a big open yard at the bottom of the hill the kids to play in.

This was my 4th time here and I wasn’t impressed the service. I really like the jalapeño sausage and he said let me make sure we’re not out he goes back and says we only have enough for a two meat plate, which I don’t understand because I’m still ordering one portion of it regardless so I say well I’d like the rest of the jalapeño sausage and could I just have the remaining portion in regular. “Can’t do that” given the circumstances you’d think they would be willing to work with me on that since I wasn’t asking for anything extra just to get the rest of the jalapeño sausage and make the difference up with regular sausage. It’s a 3 o clock on a Sunday it’s not like yall were slammed.

Heim on the River rocks with tasty eats, though the barbecue could've been hotter. Greens stole the show! Atmosphere's rad, service is chill. I'm totally coming back and telling my buddies about this spot.

The place is really nice, fun ambient, and the food was pretty decent for as fast as we got it. The service was spotty however. The cashier who took our order wasn’t very friendly, which was a let down. The woman cleaning the dining room was extremely nice though; definitely thinking of giving the place a second chance. The sausage is amazing btw.
