Helen’s hot chicken ft worth

The first I came it was so good. But this time I am soooo disgusted from service to food. I waited 40 minutes for undercooked food. I paid 52.46 for uncooked food. I asked the worker about my food because I was missing items. She put my food in another container. Yes we did order together but why did I have to get my food out of someone’s else container. Her deliverance was extremely rude. Then to sit down and my food be pink. This would be the last time Helen’s will get my business. They deserve no stars.

first and last time eating here. no ice, no fountain drinks, had to pay for each drink because of this. there was not a lot of flavor on the chicken at all. fries were great, however. also incredibly annoying that the cashier places a tablet on the counter and spins it around while standing right over it, looking at the screen and waiting and expecting a tip for just standing there...floors were also extremely dirty and sticky. really gross.

If you love Nashville hot then you'll love Helen's. I got the leg quarter combo and it was a monster chicken. My wife got the seafood combo with catfish/shrimp/lobster tail. It was very good. The lobster really absorbs the heat so there's your warning. I would highly recommend this place. The guys behind the counter were friendly and were clean. They wore gloves while cooking which made me feel better. I'm not cool with dirty hands touching my food.

Second time coming here and it did not disappoint, friendly staff. I had the hot wings combo, not spicy for me a Mexican. Will be back

Forget the big chain chicken sandwich wars because you NEED to come get Helen’s chicken sandwich. No competition. Food was fresh and service was wonderful. I’ll definitely be back and you should come here if you want quality chicken.

I ran into this restaurant one day leaving Sunday Service. The customer service is fantastic. All men running it., From the register,to cook to manager. The food was served clean and cook to order. When I walked in there were a lot of people waiting, "so call in ahead". FYI ?. I KNOW THE PRICE OF WINGS HAVE GONE UP, BUT THREE WINGS AND FRIES FOR $10. WHEN THEY FINISH WITH ME MY BILL WAS $47. AND IT WAS JUST ME AND MY MOTHER EATING. One piece of fish is going to be four and a half dollars the cake $5, but it was good scratch cake! I love supporting black businesses yes I do, but eating out of plastic for $47 I won't do that again. This is for the owners, the smoke from the kitchen is spilling out in the dining area, which makes it very hot. Something needs to be done about that. We had to sit outside with our lawn chairs until our meal was ready. Great experience

Love the flavor you guys! However, fries absolutely suck. Check this place out, but pass on the fries.

Excellent and authentic food! Best okra I’ve ever had. Chicken sandwich was spicy, juicy, crispy and delicious! Highly recommend, what a great addition to the Fort Worth good scene.

So today I went to try the Hella Hot chicken sandwichAnd I failed miserablyMy bloodline is weak and I admit my mistake readily!But the moment that shined was I went to purchase a second sandwich at regular hot and the owner refused to let me and remade it for me!So the customer service is absolutely stellar and they gained a customer for life!Stopped in for a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and was not disappointed.Hot and fresh with a good crunch and the coleslaw and pickle paired well!

Outstanding restaurant. My wife and I had the fried chicken tenders and waffles along with some extra catfish to take home because we knew we would have regretted it had we not. The staff was kind and courteous and the owner took a moment to speak with us and make sure we were having the best possible dining experience.5 stars because there isn’t an option for 6.

Service bad but the food on hit everytime ????

First time visitor today and I’ll just say…the catfish & wings was delicious!!! I am impressed of how well both was cooked to PERFECTION!! I will be back to try the whiting, shrimp & lobster as I’m a bigger fish fan than chicken!! Well pleased customer. ????

THEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I placed my order by phone. Asked the lady to repeat it back to me and instead she hung up(Like she always does). I called back and told her that I wasn't done speaking and would like her name in case the order is wrong which tends to happen a lot. She refused to give it and instead put management on the phone. The manager Floyd Reed was also rude and disrespectful as well and said "Your not welcome in here we'll bring the food out to you now do you want us to make it or not?" Even my six year old daughter was shocked asking me "Mommy why are they talking to you like that?" I will NEVER frequent this place ever again. The nerve to think somebody would support this business with this type of treatment towards customers. I have talked to the owner about this same lady with the attitude SEVERAL times. There are also multiple one star reviews about her as well. Yet he continues to keep her. He better hope she doesn't run his business in the ground with her attitude problem. If you walk into the LEWISVILLE location and see the the manager Floyd Reed or the black lady with the dry puff ball on top of her head that refuses to give her name anytime you place an order, my advice is to turn around and find somewhere else to eat.

This chicken is wonderful the flavor is bursting with Yum if you literally enjoy tasty chicken this is your spot they also have seafood I didn’t try it but the yard bird is Yum
