The biscuits here are gigantic, and delicious! Ordered the People's Champ with some egg and cheese on it. Added some cheesy grits. Everything about the biscuit was perfect. The chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection, gravy was nice and peppery, grits were creamy. A must stop anytime I'm in Ft. Worth.

By far the worst food I have had in Downtown. The food was cold and just not good at all. Mine came out cold, I asked to have it heated up and it came back out the same temp. Save yourself the time and just get Chick-Fil-A.

This was the world's worst restaurant I've ever been in! Yeah it was a little pricey, so is everyone else, but I wasn't to concerned about the price until I received my horrible food OMG!!! I regret ever stepping in this place everyone has different taste buds I can't seem to know everyone's taste buds did the same reaction " this is awe full !”Thats all I heard and couple minutes later I paid and left. I told everyone I said qt taquitos even cold is better then this save your money!!!!!

Went there with my Son one morning last week. 1st was the sticker shock on a sausage & egg biscuit, a chicken strip basket and a cinnamon roll came to $52. 2nd was the minimum of a 20% tip for bringing our order to our table like Whataburger does, that was the extent of service. 3rd was the quality, biscuit tasted like flour & water, no seasonings and dry. Cinnamon roll was dry to the point i had to take a drink to wash each bite down. Never had a crunchy cinnamon roll. 1st & last visit, would have been better off at a Waffle House, very disappointed

Not enough employees for lunch time. Service slow. One employee rude should not be allowed upfront.

Biscuit was just a little better than grocery store brand frozen. Graveyard was good for wall paper paste. No sausage flavor. Too pricy.

The quality has drastically changed. I have been getting The People’s Champ about 3-4 times a year when I visit my daughter, and until today, it’s always been wonderful- big,,fluffy biscuit, tender fried chicken with delicious crispy breading and thick, delicious, real sausage gravy. Today, it was awful, the biscuit was flat, chicken was tough, breading was soggy and gravy was runny. Can’t believe the difference!! Also, the default tip for an online order was set at 25%, I had to really search to figure out how to change it to 15% ( to go order).

Been coming for a while now. And as any customer would want is consistency with service and food. Today I ordered the usual and it is no longer the same anymore. At least for today I will be coming to try it one more time but I got the hottie which was good and the southside both came out good. The loaded tatter Tots were horrible cmon $7 for 2 slices of cheese with a pinch of bacon. And the ranch is definitely on the weird side.

Couldn’t finish it—way too salty, lack of flavor, way too overpriced, just FULL OF REGRET. $48 wasted.

We’re in a recession, let this place die and save your money. I grew up poor and take food home to not waste, but in this case, I did not take this home. This belongs in the trash.

The lemonade dispenser was DIRTY left black specks in my beverage and I had to choose another one. I brought my husband here at opening and I regret it. He struggled to finish this meal and we left disappointed. This is how we left the table after tugging through it. I came here on reviews and it was bad.

Biscuits and gravy, dry biscuits and overly salted gravy—I love salt but this was WAYY TO MUCH SALT. Chicken tenders were really small and the batter was too salty.

The ranch was good at toning down the salt but after a while there was way too much seasoning coming through. Yes, you can over do seasoning. They proved it here.

The Mac and cheese was soggy and over salted. But I could finish it if I wasn’t in a bad mood.

Bacon was DRY NASTY AND BURNT and I like mine real crispy but this was bad.

Party of 4 - Tab $120 roughly (food + 4 drinks)
We tried the following (expect the chicken to be bigger than biscuit so a tad messy !!!)
The Hottie x 2 - kind of like hot sauce flavor better if you add some honey on top
The Big boi - messy but good balance of the “things”
The Nashville Hot - your usual but there chicken is really good
Tenders basket - safe bet grab sauce and dip away
The ppl Champion- gravy overload but in a good way
Sides of Greens - really good flavor -didnt just taste like they came straight from a can
Mac and Cheese x 2 nothing super special but not bad..pairs well with any of the biscuits
Fried green tomatoes - a tad salty but traditional the ranch is serve on top but we got on the side so we could dip, that probably would have cut the salt a little.
Drinks - Great sweet tea not syrup perfect amount of sweetness.
Overall everyone enjoy their food and nice price point. We will definitely be back again. Most had to push the plate away because we were so stuffed.
