Hurtado barbecue should be why people come to Texas to try Texas barbecue, I haven’t had ribs and brisket the way they cook it in awhile, so moist but perfectly smoked. Their Texas twinkies is a must have on every order from here on out.

It's excellent BBQ. I usually get breakfast there, but I've had lunch as well. The staff are friendly, fast and courteous.

Every employee had a positive attitude and was excited about serving food and interacting with customers. When we tasted the food, we understood why. The food quality was excellent! While a fully Texas Barbecue vibe - there was nothing generic about the food. Uniquely sweet, spicy, and smoky - the meat quality and preparation made every bite a new and delicious experience. Happened in for lunch, it was so good we went back for dinner the same day!

I got their brisket with the potato salad and green beans. Brisket was very soft and would definitely get again! Potato salad had a nice kick/spice to it. Staff was very friendly and was a chill atmosphere.

Amazing bbq! Moist and flavorful at reasonable prices. Serving portions are good. They gave us 2 servings of banana pudding too and it was delicious. Try this place and you won't regret it!

First time going to this location. Great to see a Hurtado’s in Fort Worth!

In my opinion, the El Jefe Platter is still one of the best values in BBQ. You get plenty of food for your money. The addition of a Texas Twinkie also makes it better.

The only complaint is the small parking lot. Thankfully we went during a time that wasn’t busy.

Small place,. outdoor seating but without air conditioning. Food was fast and good..I had the tostada and the elote . Others had ribs, stuffed potato. Elote is SPICY it was good but I could eat it I love the heat but my stomach doesn't. The tostada was loaded with brisket and so yummy!

Some of the best BBQ we’ve had! Got one of the meals with 2 total pounds of meat. Had enough to have lunch, dinner, and lunch the next day for 2! Loved it and will be back!

Brisket was tough and dry. Potato salad has a strange oatmeal texture. Doesn’t even compare to Goldies.

I was truly impressed with this place! The flavor was delicious and the portions were generous. The atmosphere and the facilities are definitely worth it. They even host fun activities like trivia to bring the tables together — such a great touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable!

Great food as always just few things about this location really small but the most importantly thing I believe it's really hot 🔥 🥵 inside this location you can feel it were your eating at the table waiting in line especially you see it in the employees body language. Plus, lil more flies than anyone would want in a restaurant when you're eating swatting at flies to be able to eat. Other than that food always on point great brisket elote & Texas twinkie
