I was craving some macarons and JOY was just a block away from where I was. I was expecting some delicious macaron varieties but was I wasn’t expecting were the incredible macaron ice cream sandwich. If I lived close, I’d be ordering all the time!! The chocolate coconut I ate was amazing!!
The macarons are, obviously, fantastic. Great flavors, special holiday selection, would buy again and again. But I'd also really like to highlight the ice cream as well. While there's only a limited selection, the care and effort they put into their select flavors truly shines. I had the cookie dough ice cream, which has a brown butter base and three flavors of cookie dough, and it was beyond incredible. Probably my new favorite ice cream!
Came here because we saw good reviews for food allergies…but found out that everything is cross-contaminated and the only allergy they are concerned about is gluten. Everything has dairy, which was very frustrating. The employee we spoke to really didn’t seem to be sorry that we couldn’t get anything, and said that since she wouldn’t get anything for fear of cross-contamination, we didn’t need to get anything. Very awkward and very frustrating. Won’t be back.
