I had to stop eating my food to write this review lol. We’re big fans of Koracha Thai, so we were excited to learn Ko Thai has the same owners and it definitely did not disappoint.
We ordered the red curry with roasted duck, shrimp basil fried rice, orange chicken, curry puffs, and the cream cheese and every single thing was excellent. The flavors are rich without being heavy, the portions are generous, and even the presentation is beautiful.
If you’re anywhere near here and trying to decide where to eat, just go. This is one of those places you immediately add to your regular rotation. We will definitely be back soon.

The Tom Yum soup was bold and aromatic with the perfect tangy-spicy kick, super comforting and full of flavor. I also loved the Thai fried rice; it was light, fluffy, and seasoned just right without being greasy. The portions are generous, and the presentation is beautiful. The restaurant has a cozy, stylish vibe that makes it great for dinner with friends or family. Tuyet also made our experience wonderful. Highly recommend trying something new off the menu, you won’t regret it!

Me and my family came here to celebrate my 18th birthday, I chose this place as I love Thai food and this place did not disappoint. The Thai Tea was delicious and all of the entrees and appetizers were amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a good Thai restaurant to dine at. The interior was also beautiful decorated and the workers were all nice and friendly.

Really enjoyed this elevated take on Thai Cuisine. Fairly new place on Magnolia was just the ticket for something different for this birthday girl. The restaurant gives an elegant vibe with dining available downstairs, upstairs (elevator available), and on the patio.
The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. I think our server was a little new, but he did a good job. I really enjoyed my go-to Pad Thai for the most part. I'm fairly picky about my tofu and it was a little overdone for how I like it, but the rest of the dish was delicious. We also had the roasted duck breast - and then the mango sticky rice was a nice change for a birthday dessert

Honestly, I almost didn't order the orange chicken. So many places serve a version that's either way too sweet or just a soggy mess of breading that falls apart. But Ko Thai's version is seriously different. The chicken pieces were perfectly crispy and I mean they kept their crunch right up until the last bite, which tells you a lot. The sauce is where they truly nail it. It’s got this incredible balance a bright, zesty orange flavor that feels fresh, and just enough of a subtle, warm heat to keep it from tasting like candy. I was completely in love.

We were really looking forward to trying this Thai restaurant, as we’re frequent Thai food eaters and love exploring new spots. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit disappointing.
We ordered takeout for dinner, and while the staff was friendly and the food was ready on time, several things fell short. The chicken fried rice lacked flavor and needed more seasoning or sauce. We were happy the rice to-go container was full. The yellow curry had a delicious flavor, but it was missing the carrots that were listed on their online menu. On top of that, the portion was only half full even though it cost $17, which didn’t feel worth the price.
The Thai tea was excellent — creamy and flavorful — but it was filled with mostly ice, so there wasn’t much tea to enjoy. I should have asked for light ice.
Overall, while the flavors were mostly enjoyable, the lack of flavor in the fried rice, missing ingredients in the curry, and small portions made it a bit of a disappointing experience. We may try it again, but not sure if it stands out enough to pay the extra amount comparatively.
I will say just walking into the restaurant to pick up the food, it is a lovely decorated restaurant and the staff was kind.

****Beware*** they will scam you. They included a 18% tip and didn't let us know. They never showed us an itemized bill so when they brought the card read to be paid we double tipped not knowing. How many people do they rip off? Def shady practice and will not be back! Also they charge you $3.50 for canned coke with no refills. You would expect more from a place that takes reservations.
