Honest review here..I was skeptical of this restaurant due to the mix reviews but a family member picked this location for their birthday. The experience was actually great and the host/servers was attentive. They made us feel welcomed and the Hibachi was delicious. Interaction was good and they never missed a beat. Now, I can see why people say it lacked customer service because of the slight language barrier but that showed the customers probably didn't think outside themselves to be human for a moment. Sometimes compassion can help change the eyesight into seeing the humanity of things.

Hibachi meal was good… ramen was flavorless.. H‑E‑B sushi taste better.. customer service lacked a bunch. I’d avoid this place all together 90$ down the drain.

First time customer and was very disappointed with the outcome of the service. Coming from someone who is familiar with sushi and ramen the quality was not great. Did not taste fresh and the texture was way too mushy. The ramen itself lacked flavor the pork was bland, not to mention the eggs tasted sour and usually a nice egg in ramen taste sweet. I love sushi and ramen and I can guarantee if you are someone who enjoys the food as well you will be disappointed with the quality here. I politely asked them to remove the ramen and the manager never stepped foot to come out and speak to me, instead he just had his waitresses constantly coming back and forth to tell me he isn’t able to remove the food I did not eat and that they don’t do that even if you don’t eat it. I decided to give this place a chance due to their high ratings but I will never return. The prices are high and not worth it one bit.

Food was amazing. Servers were new but they tried. The atmosphere was great up until another guest got upset about paying for their soda. It was ridiculous and a small inconvenience to our lunch, but we will definitely be back.

Dined here while visiting from out of town. Food was better than expected and the presentation lovely.Unfortunately, this was one of only two places I used my debit card in while visiting in town and the next day I was a victim of credit card fraud as my cc was skimmed and cloned and the used around Ft Worth for several thousand dollars, though I was no longer there. Our server’s disposition seemed excessively nervous (assumed maybe he was new), but in light of the subsequent fraud I did make note of it with the police report. I hope it turns out to not be the location my card was compromised but it was the only establishment my card was out of my sight as the other was a fast food drive through.

First visit. Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi and the Steak and Red Snapper Hibachi. Everything was good except the red snapper. It was overcooked and I couldn’t eat it. They forgot our salad and soup. Not sure if I’d return.

Since AYCE is only applicable during the week and not on weekends, you should confirm before arriving. My experience at Takara was unprofessional, and the owner of the company should take the blame for inadequate staff training rather than the waiter. If you want your firm to expand, you must provide hosts and service personnel with further training.

I rarely write reviews but this is my #1 sushi place now and I’ve been twice so far. Food is amazing, ambience is perfect and the prices are fair as well especially for the portions they give! Not to mention they have a great bar too. 10/10 for me!
