Stayed in one of their cabins on the lake and had one of the most relaxing, layed back vacations I've had in a long time. Heard nothing!!!! Which was Amazing ? nothing but crickets and the frogs. Which is a rare occasion even on a vacation these days. Woke up to deer ? hanging out like they were just part of the scenery. Said hi to one of the fisherman launching and walked over to the Marina to Sammy's and grabbed a cup of coffee ☕️ and great breakfast. After that got to watch a local bass tournament and enjoyed a day of fun in the sun. That even grabbed dinner on the patio of the Marina restaurant and watched the sun go down and the night life kicked in. A couple of friends met me at the bar and we listened to some live karaoke and shot some pool. By the way I'm writing this so you can see that here every thing you need was all right in the Marina. I didn't have to go anywhere which I know a lot of us business guys look for a place to unwind literally not wind up and Lakeview Marina provided just that. I felt as if I walked into a Cheers episode at Sammy's. Was met by some friendly locals shared stories of days gone by and just felt like I could possibly move here and fit right in. In today's craziness you really can't find these little hidden secrets. There's so much more to this Marina than I had imagined and look forward to coming back and bringing the family this time as the cabin could have easily handled a crew of q2cor more.

Took boat out on the lake fishing for a couple hours. When we decided to go back to the marina our boat would not start. I called Lakeview Marina where we put in. They sent a young man with a barge to tow us in. Saved our skin, literally. It was 111 degrees.
Great place to get gas for your boat, they are always willing to help.
Great place to launch for EM. Sammy's is cool for a drink after as well.
