I love this chicken. If there is a Gus's in a city I visit, I will go there. It has a little kick to it that I love. Batter is a thin crispy style that I don't find often. Fried pickles are a favorite and I never pass on greens. I have been to 5 or6 Gus's and found the chicken to be the same awesome product.

Great food, great service! We sat right by the window and watched the people walking on the sidewalks while we ate. I got the 2 piece dark plate with potato salad and fried okra. The potato salad wasn’t my favorite but that’s only because I prefer mine a bit more on the sour side. Their potato is a little sweet. We got fried pickles as an appetizer with ranch. They were cut into spears. The fried pickles did not disappoint, they were my favorite. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The location is great and parking wasn’t too bad. The fried chicken was so crispy (which I love) and the taste was a little different but delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Chicken was fried very hard didn't enjoy but the homeless guy I fed I really hope he enjoyed it. That was my 3rd time there I don't think I'll go back to this location. Yuck

Got here on sunday morning just a few minutes before they opened. Food was so good! Chicken was piping hot, freshly cooked. Not super spicy. Server was friendly and refilled our drinks very often.

Good chicken at a reasonable price. Went at 11:30 am on a Friday and the place was already jammed up. We waited about 10 minutes-not bad. I would say we had fast excellent and attentive service and not fast food chicken. The chicken was slightly spicy, plenty moist, and just plain good. We found about Gus’ in Fort Worth after eating at Gus’s in San Antonio. Got to be kidding, a Gus’ Chicken in Fort Worth? And been here for 5 years? Gus’ Chicken in Fort Worth is a “hole in the wall place.” But the only place we’ll eat chicken now-second visit in a month.

Went here for a quick lunch. The okra and beans were awesome. The chicken was great too. They certainly have a good breading

The food was a little over the price I had expected but there was flavor. The baked beans seem like that from a can. The chicken was spicy which we did not know, we ordered online but the best item was the fried pickles I'm my opinion.

Weve been here a few times. The chicken is always remarkable. Cooked perfect everytime. Their baked beans are very good and their fried okra. Thid time we had their chocolate pie served cold. It's more like fudge than pie and it's very good.

If you love spicy fried chicken, this is the place to eat. I had the 3 tender plate and was only able to eat two tenders. They are big pieces of juicy white meat. The sides are baked beans and slaw but, you can sub anything off the sides menu for an extra 50 cents. The baked beans were the usual standard beans. I had the mac & cheese and it was also okay. The chicken is selling point. My friend had the three piece white meat plate that has 2 breast and a wing. He also had the beans but, added their greens. He said the greens were good. All in all we had a great meal.

Stopped by due to reviews and was not disappointed. The chicken was some of the best I had in the metroplex, crispy without being greasy but with a bang. Sides were nothing to write home about but were good. Definately will go back.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon at lunch. This is my second visit to the restaurant as I come into town periodically. Chicken strips were amazing as ever! First time having the macaroni and cheese which was amazing! Price value equation is outstanding. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is I feel like service, both times, has just been adequate. Hopefully this is just an anomaly as this is iconic to the area and should not be taken for granted.

My family and I just went there for the first time. The chicken was amazing!!! we got both dark and white meat. We also had the fried pickles which are delicious. I recommend the mac & cheese and baked beans for a side.
